Just listening to that list makes one think. Should I really retire or should I start life again? Looking at a few ideas, I think I'll sit down and let the feeling pass...but there is loads of opportunity here! Just wondered if anyone ever got around to writing - "How to run a pub in Pattaya and actually make a profit - A newbies Guide".. 🤣 Tempted???

Nice to see you back uploading useful videos again. Looks like you dropped a few kilos. Simon LOS had a great business model with his resort and I was friends with him, Mem and many of his guests. Lost contact with him after he went back to the UK in 2021. I'm looking for an opportunity here in Thailand. Needs to be long term sustainable business for my Mrs, her adult daughter (and me). Maybe a bar on Soi 6 or Soi 7 is the best type of business?

I watched some vids last night of guy’s moaning about their life in Thailand. Rather than do something about it and get motivated a good moan is all they offer their communities.

Also, if you are retired here and not making an effort to learn the language, it is your fault. When I try to speak Thai, the reception and appreciation from the locals is amazing. Genuine appreciation.

Agreed. Too many KZbin channels making stories about Men coming to Thailand and getting ripped off or scammed by Women. They blame them and don’t look in the mirror and take responsibility for themselves.

Hello Mr Flowers. Making sense as usual. I have a new business concept but no actual business. I need to meet someone who can help work around it for mutual gain.

I found out best to give your self daily challenges, stay busy, find new interests if you don't already have many. Saving money also can be as good as making money in lean times. Be careful who you befriend in Thailand expats, more so there is many who are after a slice of your money saying there your friends. I tell them that true friends are the hardest thing to find in Thailand and I have none only acquaintances.

Another great video! I tried to find an email for you somewhere on your channel but couldn't. Is there anyway I can send you an email about a business situation I have and to tell you the truth, after watching your channel so much I really don't know who to trust! I would really respect your opinion as to what I need to do to market my product here in Thailand. I do know I'm going to need a Thai partner I just don't have those connections. Can You help me Bryan? Thanks.

Holidaying anywhere is different than living there full time, lots of guys live the high life while on holiday for a couple of weeks and bullshit about how great and successful they are , then go home to save for the next trip , but you can’t bullshit people forever when living there full time and your stories catch up with you , people find out you’re not who you said you were , you lose credibility and are just the next cheap Charlie alcoholic at a bar , the girls you’re try to impress only want your money and as quickly as possible so they can get rid of you , they don’t want a fat bald ugly drunk old man , they need money , Have a great life whatever you Choose to do ,

As a local who know a one or two western expats, I always think that, unless you are an old man with deep pocket or big pension, it's very difficult for you guys to stay here anyway, especially when consider that we like to charge you guys more than locals and many of us also see you guys as a living bank. As I had stayed in Pattaya for 2-3 years untl 2 years ago, an old expat who got throw away by his girl when he had no money left or got some chronic disease was not uncommon.

I resonate so much with what you have said Bryan. I am currently upskilling and pivoting my career with a view to setting up a new business in Thailand this year. I think that the days of choosing one career for life are coming to an end and we need to be constantly learning to thrive. There’s so much content out there for learning and self development and the opportunities are endless! Keep up the good work 😊
