Video could have been 30 seconds. Lockerbie is what finished it off. Having the front fuselage of an airliner with your logo on it laying in a field shown on the news all over the world will do that to an airline.

10:25 same for manufacturers McDonnell D and Boeing was a disaster and Boeing is paying for it big time now 25 years after

The glory days of flying are over. You don’t have good food. Security checkpoint is awful. The seats are very tight because airlines want to fit more people. Yyyeah I can’t care about dressing up to fly as a passenger anymore. **At least American airlines I’ve heard of other airlines that are actually nice to fly with

I’m a very simple person. I’m sooooo glad the days of “dress code” to go flying are over. It’s just a damn medium of transportation. Dress for comfort.

@uriahstivers8125 11 months ago (edited) Asking an airline pilot if he can do this type of flying is like asking a trucker if he could race a rally car. He could probably do it, but not like the professionals that train for that particular style of flying Wow, this comment blew up. After watching this movie 30times the way you cut it up messed with my head is bad 😂😂😂 I understand why you had to do that I have a channel to😂😂😂

This channel gives us what we really want to know in aviation. Do they have a breakfast? Also, when you say, "kicked out of Miami," does that mean, "They need me based somewhere else now, so I'll transfer to a new base," or does that mean kicked out the way I used to have to worry about some of the dairy plants banning me from delivering loads there anymore if I got too critical of their inept operation (looking at you, Stonyfield).

So is Matt saying you can't sue the airline if you die? Obviously like you're family can't sue on your behalf, but if you get mangled in a plane, then you can sue? I don't understand about them saying the airline wants you to die if something goes terribly wrong.

You didn't really say where he landed exactly, yes a field but what were his options?, what sort of field? The picture looks like he went through some trees or bushes.

idk, if I had a mid-air collision I would probably not be worrying about getting a nickname, or about anything at all, ever again
@jimsuson2190Сағат бұрын
Totally agree with you on the punishment. I'm a low-key person. But I have run into some awfully rude people on airlines and it shouldn't be that way and punishment would be the answer

Why are people “like this these days”???? You must be kidding. Because I know of a guy who was convicted of over THIRTY FELONIES and the judge didn’t even bother sentencing him!!! Not even probation!! Right, don’t listen to the people in the comments pretending that they support being “tough on crime”. They’re LIARS.

I agree 100%. I fly exactly nowhere. And im good on getting out of our bubble. Cause in this bubble i can see the mountains, desert, beach, forest, rain forest, swamp, tundra, all of it inside the bubble.

At a minimum the controller should receive a once in a career warning. The pilot wants to exit - let the pilot exit end of story. The ATC was being a control freak.

As for your comment about being near a small airport, people need to chill. I live near AZO (like 1/4-1/2 mile away). It’s a small but international airport. But most planes stop by 7-8pm. Who cares. People need to relax.

I'm really confused why they put you in Downtown hotels. There are many good hotels a lot closer to the airport and I'd assume less expensive but it is on the companies dime. I probably saw you come in and had no clue you were one of the pilots. I wouldn't have seen you leave as I don't work night shift but if you come in during day shift I'm usually around when those big beauties pull into the plant. It's nice to see the perspective of someone who brings us some of the major pieces of our bird. In the early days of the program before the Final Assembly was built, my team and I got to take a tour of the entire Dreamlifter. Remembering that now I'm digging to see if I still have the picture of us in the cargo bay with the tail open.

I’m flown many, many times and I’d never had a problem with anyone else on a flight. I’ve always enjoyed myself with flight crews, people at the gates and everywhere along the way. It’s not that difficult.
