Before they closed them down, Any ISOLATED duty station, like ATTU Alaska at the LORAN station 2. Dana Indiana (see above) 3. Caribou Maine (see nr 1) 4. Petaluma, CA (lots of "A" and "C" schoolers) The command isn't really that bad, just like you mentioned, surrounded by cow farms so smells like cow manure a lot, mostly when they are spreading it next to housing. 5. Guam Anyplace on Guam. I've been retired for 25 years so I'm sure nr 5 still sucks. I live near a Seabee base so I'm going to say Gulfport MS isn't the best and why many end up staying here most of their time in service is beyond me. Next door neighbor is a SB. He's been here 11 years. My god. I think the Navy forgot about him. And guess where he's deployed to right now? Yep, nr 5.

I have never been in the military but my dad was Air Force before I was born. I discovered challenge coins when a motorcycle association gave one to me. I told my dad about it and he told me about it. I fell in love with them on that day. Since then, I had recieved 2 more since then. One at my towns yearly festival (It wa a conemorative poker chip) and one from the Air Force Museum with my dad's Air Force rank on it (This is the one I carry on me in the small pocket.) I want to make a familial one for my family or maybe even reach out to the head of the clan on the traditional lands to make one for everyone world wide.

Only four years 1966-1970. Pensacola nice and even better as a town now. My worst was Danang Airbase, Vietnam. Although the craziness of war zone was sometimes amusing. Best place for me was Denver. Only seven months during training, but had lots of time to explore the Rockies. Two and a half years in Japan, NAS Atsugi, except for the 1/3 of time at Vietnam det. Lived in Yokohama at Navy housing. Loved Yokohama. Best, best time? Boston, MA, November 10, 1970. Walked in as a Lieutenant and walked out as a civilian.

Lemoore was my first duty station after Great Lakes...... can't STAND Lemoore and WILL never go back! Fallon, NV is worst than Lemoore....when I served (2001-2012), my squadron would do dets out in Fallon.....hated EVERY minute of it!!

After 2 minutes I had to stop watching this video because it was literally making me sick. America used to have a military force that was hardcore badass and would whip any other military force in the world.
