I covered this song in a country band with a dear friend and one of the most stand up guys I’ve ever known. A monster talent as a singer and guitarist, too. My friend passed on over 10 years ago, and Joe’s gone now, too. The lyrics of the song have become even more meaningful than when we did it.

It's unbelievable how these songs have so much more meaning 20 years later. Damn it really hits home. Thanks, Joe. Rest easy, brother.
