This is similar strategy as a lot of bigger company. The premise is, one parent company created multiple or dozens of smaller, physical-companies (not as a brand) that bear no relation to the parent or their "co-companies" in the public and sells the same type of products with varying price (or it can be exact same as well) and services will be different among these sub-companies to create the illusion that all these companies are competing with each other. Now, of course most sales will go to the lowest priced, but some will naturally purchase the higher one, and its a bonus profit. Not only that, they also get the data on their consumer spendings to formulate better idea for future sales. Believe it or not, lowest price in certain group of goods will not always be the highest selling but too expensive and it will lack turnover. The price needs to be juuuust right, with a little cherry on top.

The simple truth is, advances in tech - even relatively "low tech" ones - are outpacing our ability to adapt and prevent bad actors from exploiting it. From social media to AI to seemingly innocuous things like food delivery. We have to stop letting Big Tech determine how we run society.

I believe the Apple Vision Pro is the perfect solution for specific use cases. The person who has multiple displays and multiple windows open because of their need to cross reference would find their preference for the Apple Vision Pro would build soon after some experience with it. They are the early adopters that Apple will use to enhance features such as a much more sophisticated voice to text capability. This multiple window environment is one I work in most often, and I like the portability of the Vision Pro which relieves me of having to have a multiple screen, laptop, environment, throughout my house, on planes, or as a passenger in the car.

Pretty much all major music & sports venues have always been billboards. Television, movies, KZbin videos, food products, basically everything you can consume is utilized to advertise something else you can also consume. That’s basic capitalism. Everything you buy is selling you something else & every visible surface is potential marketing real estate for growth potential. Recreational venues exist to sell marketing space & attract the attention of sponsors, like literally everything people bother themselves to “develop”, or produce. KZbin shows me ads for customizable Oreo cookies for my abuela. Anyone know which lever I can pull to?be crushed by a safe?

This must've created some weird feelings. Like they say "We've always wanted to date identical twin brothers"... So what if when one of them starts dating, did the other one date the other twin because they felt they had to? Is one of them trapped in an unhappy relationship becasue they feel they should stay? Same with the pregnancy, when one of them announced, did the other get pregnant just to stay the same??

29:45 something that I don’t think was mentioned by Casey or Eddie in the context of the device being something that dissociates you, is how unsafe that is. Especially as a woman, you have to be on guard and aware in public or you could be in danger; being so absorbed in your own virtual environment takes away from your consciousness of how the people around you could affect you, and how you affect them. This is already happening with people who are easily distracted from their surrounding while looking at their phone; it makes you an easy target. There are a lot of issues with bringing tech like this into the public, but I think this is the most urgent to peoples safety.
