An anti monarchy rebellion in spain? We must stop that. What if it happens here?! Dank: In the business, we call this foreshadowing.

What I said in your Caesar's unaliving video where Brutis unalived Julius most shamefully? The pillar that Marc Anthony displayed Caesar's wax image on was in fact a _cruciform tropaeum_ which was actually a CROSS of the sort that hangs in our Christian churches today! This honour was adopted and continued by the Imperial Cult and Justin Martyr makes note of it in his 1 Apology, chapter 55. Francesco Carotta gets more detailed into this in his book, Was Jesus Caesar? and the KZbin video The Gospel of Caesar.

Brutus stabbing Caesar between his legs is SO DISGUSTING! Right in the perimeum, like one engaging in the missionary position. 🤮 Caesar died a most shameful, like one impailed. And Marc Anthony will exploit that fact in order to honour him at his funeral.

I see a lot of people mention that they have 4-6 hours of actual work in a day but still have to sit for 8-9 hours. I face the same issue. But it used to be easier at my last job where they had huge balconies terrace. We were on the clock but would sit outside and have a chat when free. Now i work in a closed office with only one entry door, not enough room to even walk without running into someone. And was hell to get adjusted. I started studying to switch career and bring in downloaded videos and course material on my phone. But at the end its still a drag and just looking at the clock to leave.

Tribune Pontius Aquila was killed at Mutina fighting against Mark Antony, he may have been the ancestor of Pontius Pilate. Yes, that Pontius Pilate

20:58 It’s interesting how in this painting, the way the snake is coiled makes it look like a crook, one of the tools mummified pharaohs are depicted holding on their sarcophagus. Only instead of a crook, it’s a snake, and it’s to Cleopatra’s side instead of crossed over her body.

I don't belive Brutus on enyone else struckceaser between the legs, as it would realisticly get him exiled from Rome itself. And it posed to need for him to do that. I do belive he struck him in a leg, the other one. So ceaser couldn't get up.

@mythomaniac-gremlin16 сағат бұрын
if you think his videos have a leftist bias you're kinda insane, he has basically always presented himself as a moderate centrist and simply relaying the history of the french arch-conservatives damning themselves does nothing to indicate otherwise. Maybe it just hits too close to home.

I feel like the ultra-conservatives always knew they were doomed under any level of liberalism whatsoever, so fighting tooth and nail to prevent any progress at all makes some kind of sense from their very limited perspective. Basically, there's no benefit whatsoever that flows to the vast majority of people from having all the wealth and power in the hands of a tiny elite who make incredibly selfish, frequently idiotic decisions all the time. The moment any part of that facade starts to crack, it's basically game over.

What makes this even more amazing is that none of these peoples even spoke the same language. They shared some cultural similarities and roots of their languages, but…just because someone can speak Spanish doesn’t mean they’re going to be able to be fluent in Italian. And when you’re dealing with complex political issues, treaty’s, etc…the details matter.

Julius Caesar is one of the most unbelievable historical figures. He’s like the main video game character. If you told me that a single person would rise to political power as Consul, conquer all of France, fight off Germans, invade Britain, fight and win a civil war (fighting in Spain, Greece, and North Africa), overthrow the Egyptian monarchy then make a stronger alliance with Egypt while impregnating their hot queen, repel an invasion in Turkey, make a legendary calendar, all while making political, social, and economic reforms to “better” the government, then I wouldn’t believe you. Call Caesar a power hungry man, but it makes me wonder if the Senate just let him live out his life as “king” and then ensure things go back to normal by not naming an heir once he dies. I would have let him campaign. If Rome hypothetically controlled and anexed the entire perimeter of the Black Sea, then history would have been vastly different.

i love this video so much... i wanted to see if you had ever thought about doing a video/series of videos on the history of the labor movement in the u.s/around the world. i feel like its a great topic with a lot of very interesting material to cover. you know, stuff like unions, anarchists, riots, bombings, the 8 hour workday, company men, hired goons, etc. i think these topics would also benefit from your video style, you have a way of distilling complex events down in a way that makes it very easy to understand. its an important historical topic that has had vast effects on the world we live in yet so many people dont know about much of it. anyways, i hope you think about it but even if it doesnt interest you i hope you have an amazing day.
