I wish for a video covering just the conclusions in summary form as I have trouble focusing for too long and get lost about what is being talked about or what the conclusion is - especially since it's frequently not outright stated, but implied as the obvious outcome of the thought process xD

I need to thank the Jediwarlock for this because I just finished watching his Ironforge Museum Tour (within Classic WoW) and one of the items on display is the claw from a roc, believed to have been excavated on the coasts of Stranglethorn. Jediwarlock makes an offhand comment that it could of belonged to a "sun roc" and could have previously been a loa worshipped by the trolls. Immediately, I had to rush back over to this lore theory video because of what is mentioned around 59:31.

big lore topic i see noone talking about is actually crystals. where did the came from? why are MANY of the places crators? why do you find black blood close to crystals and primal Animals close? what is their connection to forces ? and why the Eff isTyrhold so similar in function to beledar.

Has anyone ever considered the life that came about after the earthmother cried the Blue Child tears? Could that new life had been what was said the be the new guardians that had arrived? The 1st Trolls maybe? Oddly enough, in the Dungeon Halls of Lighting, in the room "Halls of The Watchers". There are 3 constellations, one of a Shu'halo Warrior. A Elven Woman with a Deer, and last. One of "2" Trolls possible relating to the "They" and "Them" pronouns used in "The Eyes of the Earthmother" Story.

awesome vid bro, really enjoied it. Just a suggestion though .... dont flash between to pics like the oldgod and the world map on second intervals... nearly gave me a fit. slow and steady fade outs whilst you're calmly telling the story would be much nicer on the eye. cheers.

Personally, I think Avaloren would be a more appropriate once-home of Elun'Ahir - and part of the reason it was made Terra Incognita by the Keepers.

5:50 Well, wait, that doesn't make sense. That would imply the Titans tasked the green dragonflight with keeping the dream, when it was Tyr - while empowering them with Titan order magic - that actually set them to task. Similarly, the trolls I thought was well established, are the original intelligent native Azerothian species from which the others (yes, mainly elves) spring forth. I don't believe they were designed to be safeguarding or keeping anything but Azeroth herself.

I think the yjsharj info we've received in the story of elunahir confirms some link between him/it and the first world tree/elunahir. The civilisations it refers to could just be all the bug spawn places around azeroth, but bugs are just part of the natural cycle being decomposers (just like the hinted root systems and fungoids). So there being "good bugs" originally wouldn't be weird it's just when they're blasted with void energy they become damaging to nature. (Or blasted with spirit/arcane and become trolls/elves)

I think the roots that the old gods manipulate are an attempt to open Azeroth’s prison. She is currently being used as a power source, a Dyson sphere or array entrapping her. We’ve seen these prisons in dragon flight on a smaller scale with the primalists. The roots spreading could crack that prison, allowing the void to corrupt her, awaken her, and turn her on the titans. In regards to Sargaras’s sword, in the wow rpg it’s called Gorribal, the dark seether. Seether means to boil, and I think him piercing the planet wasn’t an attempt on Azeroth, but trying to pierce into the roots of these corrupted world trees, to boil out the shadow and void corrupting the planet. Unfortunately, Magni the pawn, with the aid of N’zoth lead us to powering down his sword. Allowing the void to continue unchecked while the pantheon were off putting sargaras back in check (stronger domination magic). They need their champion back, even if that means stripping him of his free will once again.

This would make azerite a kind of manifestation of the corruption being fevered out of Azeroth, the world's lifeblood mixing with Gorribal's magic

The idea that the green dragons were a failsafe for Titan keepers is ridiculous. The Titan keepers were made thousands of years before proto drakes even existed. So they made a failsafe for themselves only hundreds of years after they were all basically defeated by Loken? That logic doesn’t track, although, blizzard is horrible at writing so

I clicked so quick I can actually say I'm first...? Let's GOOOO! As usual, every response will be in alignment with my position in the video, timestamped. I will likely be editing this again in time as new thoughts come to light. 4:37 - There is also (and I'd like to thank Xaxxas for reminding me of this bit of forgotten lore) Fu Zan, the Wanderer's Companion. Even though Xaxxas focuses on the fact that the Earthen have a brewery, quite similar to those across Pandaria, I find it curious about the placement of Khaz Algar and the fact that monks of old seemingly held a piece of Pandaria's first tree, which is later revealed to have been part of a world tree at some point. Given how deeply spiritual Pandaria is, and how saturated by Spirit it is, I would not be surprised if below Pandaria (which we know is quite vast, if Throne of Thunder is anything to go by), is somehow interconnected with the roots we'll be discovering more about in War Within. 10:15 - The Old Gods sought to try and claim High Mountain for themselves, with the Highmountain questline ending with us finding out that the wards withholding Uul'gyneth weakened, letting the Darkness seep in from the Necrodark, which makes Neltharion's reason for fashioning elementium rather curious. Futhermore, you'll also notice that kobolds tend to reside in locations where Blizzard want to indicate that something relating to the shadow, the void or anything "dark" happens to linger. For instance, we had the Bluewax in Highmountain, who by their very nature (and why they use candles) are frightened by the "Devouring Darkness" that we can go and kill via extinguishing the six candles. If not places where darkness resides, they turn up in places where conflict will later occur, where destabilization of power has occurred or wherever the roots or Tauren reside. In other words, kobolds are the universal message that says "if you have a rodent problem, you have much worse problems". 10:22 - You will likely be interested in Hirumaredx's speculation video, 'The Hidden 6th Old God', if you haven't watched it already. He shares a similar, if not eerie, theory regarding the nature of the way the continents formed from the original Kalimdor after the Sundering. He speculates that the Old Gods had far more, deeper, reaches, exactly like root systems, that intertwined across their designated territories. I would not be surprised if the roots we see across Azeroth are the lingering roots from pre-Sundered Azeroth. I'll like to highlight (in case its not anywhere in the rest of the video) that the Harronir also have quills. Yes, you read that correctly, they have quills. If you compare your theory alongside the one I'm referring to here, it comes full circle in the strangest coincidence, especially considering that Hirumredx's video is two years old. 11:26 - Beware the Eyes of Green. People have taken this quite literal to mean actual eyes of green but green, and what it symbolizes, in and of itself, goes beyond that. It's been made obvious, as far back as G'huun in BFA and the questline in Stormsong, right up to Dragonflight that reintroduced decay and the gnolls, and of course, Gorgrond in WoD, that Life is insidiously dangerous. As you rightly have theorized, as well as Pyromancer, it is by no mere mistake that the Old Gods, and the fleshy, tentacled "Void" we know so far, tends to mimic organic material, like roots. Its why the Emerald Nightmare came so naturally to the Old Gods. Again, your description about the root network reminds me of Xaxxas's mycelium theory, again, another type of network that survives on the rotting of living things which is another bit of symbolism that Blizzard haven't been afraid to scatter into their environmental storytelling, given that TWW's herbalism will feature mushrooms heavily as a mechanic and recent expansions of past have made significant effort to put mycelium at the forefront, if you pay attention to Ardenweald and Maldraxxus, for instance. Which, if I may go off on a tangent that may be of interest, leads me to think that "What Sword?", and how it was designed, reminds me of a type of mushroom, with the pulsing "vein like" structure and the air-filter texture at its center looking remarkably like fungi (google Portobello mushrooms and tell me there isn't any similarities). Again, its no real secret that Maldraxxus was speculated to have been fashioned from an ancient, now slain, creature, considering its realm floor is literal flesh and hair. Which, if so, brings home the type of threat you're emphasizing upon here. Extra Tidbits (Updated - 18/08) - I noticed, both with in-game footage shown on KZbin when trying to find lore on the quillboar (they're as enigmatic as the Harronir, to nobody's surprise), that the Quillboar are capable of taking strange yellow crystals and from these crystals, extracting holy/sun light from them and turn them into flames. Running through the RFD & RFK, they still do this animation. They also do this other animation whee they toss shards into the air and from where the shards collide, they're capable of making motes of emerald & golden light.

I know at this point it may seem like an in-joke when I say... "Obligatory, no I am not back." But the reason I say it is because I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea. If I ever do properly return to consistently making content, I will make that clear and ensure everyone watching knows. I hope you enjoy this quick theory I threw together. It will probably age like milk but only time will tell.

Any facilities under Silvermoon/ZA will likely be uncovered in Midnight, same with Stratholme. All have large empty areas around them, and we know that whole instanced section is highly likely to be updated/connected to the overworld when we "reunify the scattered elven tribes."
