So if taking up these symbols right, it creates a dynamic memory system that self references in a way that condenses into a way of viewing, things simply, by One and many, and speeds up the memory by letting you know one, you know the other and the others other. Neat, going to take a hot minute to get it down.

46:22 like having attraction to another person,we just say " something about her or him" we can't explain why or how.l think the protoevangelismof genesis is about the seed some translations use the word it,not her or him. I think the hoky spirit is neutral not femine like wisdom.

Phenomenal lecture. Pierre is by far my favorite Professor. It’s such a gift to have access to these lectures. Along with my collection of Loebs, Ancient Greek and Latin I couldn’t ask for more. I am set for life!

Fantastic. Utterly brilliant. Between Armstrong’s translation and the Gerson editon I am thoroughly enjoying Plotinus. I like Plato a bit better, but both are so fun to read and very profound. Beats cable television!

Wow, he got pretty irritable when he considered the possibility of “tangents”. Male thinking is “logos”, which categorizes, or basically puts things into boxes. Female “eros” thinking sees connections between things, which is a wonderful ability to have. I am guessing he has had some problems with Eros thinkers. I say, find the Golden Mean between limiting focus and entertaining possibilities.

Absolutely. Identifying with anything, i.e. name and form, is lower level or ignorant. Thing is with Platonism, it's all about recollection, of the emanation, which is beyond name and form, thus liberation at it's core - Wisdom. But still, I haven't finished this lecture yet.... however, when it comes to the bible, there is an authority: Bill Donahue - God sent. The politics concerning the Bible is a waste of time. At the core is science and metaphysics. Bill Donahue! Nobody can do it like Bill had! All other lectures are a waste of time. The Bible, reconcocted wisdom teachings from time immemorial. There was no Mathew, mark, Luke, John - these are western names. These are really aspects of ourselves and the cyclical nature of all phenomena and psychology. It's sad what people have done with the Bible, because if the spirit were in them, great shame would come over them.

Autos in Greek does mean "self" based on the context, but it also is just the greek pronouns. "He, She, It, They, himself, herself, themselves etc" So I'm not convinced that the translation of using "Self" anytime "Autos" is used, is accurate. I'd love to be proven wrong by someone fluent in Ancient Greek.

He gets a lot of the history wrong, often being off by decades and jumbling a number of facts. Lorenzo Valla, for example, died a decade before Erasmus was even born. He could not have possibly written a letter about textual variants causing a crisis of faith.

There are questions that have answers. Are those answers just stalemates too? like if my mother asked me if I want a Capri Sun with my lunch, a bowl, (lunchable 😅] I say yes or no and she has her answer. She doesn’t go deep thinking into it, so which kind of questions require the Deeper level of thought 🤔

Just say set theory, the set of both the one and being is the third thing. Then the whole which is one, is a set of one component.
