For a first test of a newly modified or new slingshot, would it not be advisable to wear some type of eye protection in case the tubing slips off or breaks and springs back...? As well, what is your take on the old wrist rocket slingshot...? Nice videos by the way....

Great watch and very nicely done, always learn something watching carefully. Wanted to try that GZK just had a little clear out on eBay on band's i didn't enjoy using. We're not as cold as are so should be more than fine.

Other than moving slowly, quietly, and trying to not look directly at them, do you have any tips on how to get closer to them? Once in a long while I’ll spot one that won’t move because he figures he’s hidden, but by the time I get the slingshot out and take aim, he’s gone.

You change band depend on temparature.Excuse me ,but GZK thickness? Good laboratry in the woods and evidence.I wish you a happy new year and good shooting.

Ohh yes. As the temp drops so do my options for latex bands that will deliver an efficient kill. Once we are down to single digits(all the way to -30°F) it is GZK .76 for the win!

Having only shot what you started with,you'll get the same performance on game without the mods. I am using a heavier ball though.

You will get better speed and lighter draw with flat bands. I will agree that the handle changes are merely for comfort.

Does slingshot gap matters on power or accuracy

It does have a little bit of impact on speed, but not enough to really concern yourself with. Fork width will change your point of impact depending on your anchor point. I anchor at the corner of my mouth and have a 4 inch wide frame.
