The whole segment of Anthony explaining trailers and the breakdown of the story arc etc and how to transfer that to our day to day life (Monday morning meeting) is the most un-“gatekeeper” thing on the internet. A lot of content creators say they want to share the lessons they’ve learnt and want educate their audience, little do it with the selflessness required for their content to be ACTUALLY educational and enriching and here you are doing it RIGHT. Thank you for putting out truly valuable content time and time again. Would love to see how you balance your schedule with your personal life (I understand and respect that you keep your personal life private), how or when you make time for your girlfriend or to hang out with friends, how do you adjust your schedule to accommodate time with them or time to unwind or play sports, what kind of work/life balance do you work towards if at all. First of all, thank you for another masterpiece. You, Will, Anthony, and Grace, are my biggest role models at the moment (Beyonce as well, but that's beside the point). Today I came home unmotivated, and when I tell you that this video right here has fuelled me with motivation for the next two weeks........ BRO!! 🥹 Second of all, thank you for turning off the fucking mid-video adverts. Thirdly, it's the way you don't gate-keep, for me!!!!! Thank you for sharing all your success secrets! You are doing your part, and I promise you, I am learning all the lessons and waking up everyday at 5 am to implement them. I love you so much for that! Fourth, a special thanks to Anthony for the masterclass, I am going to be releasing a podcast soon, and I am definitely implementing those jems. (I would love if Anthony had a BBC Maestro type of thing about trailer editing 🤷🏽‍♀?) One feedback tho, what can you and Will do to improve the sound? I feel like there are moments where I cannot quite perfectly hear what you are saying (especially when you are talking to other people). Maybe add subtitles to those parts where the sound isn't as crisp? Maybe it's because English is my second language, I don't know. And one last thing!! Another great video, really good to see a little more behind the scenes on how the trailers are put together and especially love those nuggets of how you research your guests. I have said before but for the OG viewer there are some marvel-esque tidbits in there as I appreciate a few vlogs ago how your research team mentioned nadwuar and then in today's video you had the same level of research by playing the swedish house mafia music in the background, its all those tiny details that are great to bring out. For all the lovely, smooth well thought-out animations the actual content is always best when it is raw, proper behind the scenes, as a viewer it makes it feel like I am watching something nobody else has seen even though this video has 35k views, I feel part of a club which only a few people know about as opposed to a beautifully produced video which feels like just another mainstream, mass produced very well done KZbin video from an excellent team but a different emotion. Keep up the amazing videos, I cannot wait to meet the rest of the team and what they all do!

The irony of your editor making a tiny edit mistake @15:19 🥲 I think CEO's looking for people who can edit and understand should tap into the market of people who have been making video game montages / trailers for 10-15 years as that industry is so competitive and I know maybe 25 editors from that industry who could change mainstream videos for the better with their innovation and attention to detail. Love this podcast as always fascinating guys - But you really should look further with your recruitment of video editors because there's SO much talent out there that would blow your minds honestly. I'm from that world and it taught me everything i need to know - because you learn to do your own effects as well as learning sound design and all other aspects of video design that they dont teach at schools like basic 3d, title design, and so forth. ANd that industry is probably THE most competitive video editing industry in the world by a country mile.

Love the behind the scenes Steve and glad to have supported so much content, your team does a great job. Curious, where do you have the time to learn/study? I see a lot of output which resinates with all you do, but for someone performing at your level what brief do you get before you meet someone that helps give you enough information on a topic/person? Or, if your answer is you just never sleep then simple…. But I’m sure Whoop wouldn’t allow you to not sleep. Thanks! 🙌🏼
