This is a very similar technique to KZbinr Ariel Niu discussing how we sometimes place ourselves in the "inferior" or "superior" mode which can distort your viewpoints when you remain there. When you become a high performance athlete, it is very easy to let that soup of hormones get away from you without mental discipline. Body builders really pay attention to this stuff. I find it helpful to rehearse in my head what I am going to say, and how I say it, usually twice unless it is just casual conversation. Which means I may be fluctuating in and out of alpha brain states in microseconds, analyzing how the words can be received etc. Rehearsing is key to removing hesitation from the voice, cracking, or reading from teleprompters, written notes etc. The great thing is the more you do it, the less it becomes a ten minute chore and only an occasional glance. Nice video, I recognize the lingo associated with the branding, and really negotiating is about sharing flows of energy, good stuff.
