One of my favorite Gamecube games is Pokemon Colosseum. It has a bit of a darker story than the other Pokemon games where you play as an ex-Team Snagam member and save all of the shadow Pokemon from Cipher. The story is much better than other Pokemon games at the time, but the one downside to the game is that you can only obtain about 50 different Pokemon.

Eternal Darkness was so much fun! At first my brother and I were intent on keeping that Sanity meter full, but when we figured out that all sorts of fun stuff happens when it runs out we never refilled it again.

Here are some underrated/underappreciated GameCube games: Metal Arms: Glitch in the System I-Ninja P.N.03: Product Number 03 Killer 7 Tube Slider Aggressive Inline Future Tactics Uprising Mega Man X: Command Mission Sega Soccor Slam Geist XIII Cubivore Now not all of them are exclusive to the GameCube but hey, it doesn't matter as long as it's still on GameCube. It had potencial, nothing else. No story, little gameplay (L-R- mash A- MASH A), lack of characters (three enemies, and they looked the same), awful controls, all the missions happening in the same building, over and over again.

GameCube games that are underrated: Star Fox Adventures- Because it wasn't a true Star Fox game and wasn't originally intended to be one. It's a good game. It plays like Zelda. I know because I'm well into it. Star Fox Assault- The Star Fox game people wanted after Adventures was a WTF. It was criticized for being short. It's not bad really. Has everything you'd expect. Luigi's Mansion- Criticized for being short at only six hours. My only problem is the handling of the vacuum. I wish they'd remade it for NPC. Glad it spawned a franchise. Pokemon Coliseum- Different from most Pokemon games, but creative in story. The first true 3D Pokemon game. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness- Truer to an actual Pokemon game than Coliseum. A few things were watered down, unfortunately, but otherwise a great game.

J.Olliee Mann I don't know why, it's a under rated system, with some really great titles. plus most people who grew up with game cube now have disposable income, much like 2600 collectors and NES collectors. I'm just glad I got the bulk of my collection before the prices started getting high

So glad to own, and have played through most of the games mentioned. The only game I honestly miss on this list is Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Metal Arms is one of the best third person shooters I ever played, with a great multiplayer and a fresh, adult like humor, good graphics and smooth gameplay. I still hope for the so deserved sequel T.T

Growing up with a gamecube and game rentals from blockbuster, I've played the majority of these games, and even owned most of those. Never played Chibi Robo, Eternal Darkness or Billy Hatcher, but all the rest of the games on this list I can highly recommend, though they definitely hit specific niches. F-Zero GX is the hardest racing game I've ever played, Baten Kaitos is an incredibly lengthy and difficult RPG. Crystal Chronicles is an odd duck but is worth it even just for the music. Most of these games I don't have anymore, but I still have fond memories of them.

It's a shame now in days all games are built the same. Almost every GameCube game back in the day was just so creative and unique. Everything is either an FPS, Survival or an RPG all poorly made with DLC. lol

I was in high school when it came out. I believe both Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Assault are underrated. Adventures plays very much like Zelda and Assault is what those who were wondering "Where is my real Star Fox game?" got. The main criticism of Assault was that it's short.

Underrated card game RPGs was basically a full blown genre on the GameCube between Monolith's two Baten Kaitos games, From Software's two Lost Kingdom games, and Sega's Phantasy Star Online Episode 3: C.A.R.D. Revolution (which while only one game, has a light and dark campaign which had significantly different gameplay styles from once another).

Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2 are classic games exclusively for the Gamecube. They were action games where your weapons were monsters that you would summon through cards that you played. It was a fun and challenging game to play.

Luis Umana between the two games the plot was tied together. played through both multiple times. I could see something done that involves in the future after the islands return to the Earth but as for Malpercio there is not much else to add.

Sorry for the long comment, But I came here for Kirby Air Ride. I used to play it on the Gamecube until the plugs were donated in muy (my) house so I to play it on the Wii. ._. And I still play it cause PURPLE KIRBY IS IN THIS GAME and purple is muy (my) favorite color. And City Trial is fun in muy (my) opinion, even though this game is on the list. Yes it is fun with basic controllers. Dat (That) is all I'm going to say, and AGAIN, sorry for the long comment. -_-

I also recommend Cubivore! It's incredibly hard to find a copy of it for a decent price, but hey... there's always emulation. It's one of those games that you're either obsessed with (like I was) or you can't stand it. But it's really unique, and there's really nothing else like it out there. You play as a predator and you become whatever creatures you eat, allowing you to take on different forms as you work your way up the food chain.

Gotcha Force is one of my favorite games ever. I have played through the story mode more than 10 times. Billy Hatcher is also upp there with my favorites with it's colorfull soundtracks and lovable characters. I've even been asked by a random guy at a gaming event if i wanted to sell him my copy

This is the first video I've watched of yours. The content was good but man do you need to change your mic setup. Get something like a Shure sm48 and hook it up to a cheap usb mixer and you won't get that room echo when talking even if it's a room with obviously poor acoustics. I hope you take that as a positive constructive criticism as that is how I meant it. And I'm sure you've probably also read a billion comments like mine as well...so hopefully you don't get too upset if you or other see this :) But, again, good content and descriptions as it seemed like you actually played these games and loved many of them as opposed to just reading their descriptors from wikipedia and other sites like many of these "lists" videos are.

Only two that I played were Crystal Chronicles and Kirby's Air Ride, but my god, they're glorious. Crystal Chronicles will always hold a place in my "favorite games to have ever played" for the shear uniqueness of its experience, especially compared to current day gaming affairs. And I wouldn't be lying if I said I had hundreds of hours clocked in Kirby's Air Ride.

If we are talking about hidden gems on the GameCube then allow me to put forward Lost Kingdoms. Lost Kingdoms is a forgotten gem in the treasure trove of From Software (Yes, the ones who made Dark Souls) and if you enjoy the gameplay of Baten Kaitos you might give this one a try. It's a story of a heroine princess who gains the power fight with special summoning cards that you can assemble into a deck to fight with. When combat begins you get transported to mystic realm that isolates you into a square battlefield where you can run around freely and summon cards from your hand, which has four cards at a time, onto the battlefield to defeat monsters and possibly other card wielders. There are a great number of cards you can collect with varying effects that change the flow of battle and you can combine and upgrade cards to get stronger monsters or power up their effects which gives you a lot of potential for different card combos and deck strategy. You can also capture new monsters when you come across them on the battlefield and sacrifice a card in your deck to capture their soul. There is also a two player duel mode where you both can construct decks from the cards collected and battle each other. This title received a lukewarm welcome from critics and the story is rather loose but the gameplay is really fun and requires strategy to proceed and, in usual From Software fashion, the enemy summoner bosses are a hardy challenge. If you liked Baten Kaitos I suggest giving Lost Kingdoms a go.

Honestly, for me getting 4 players in Crystal Chronicles all comes down to the number of GameCube to GBA cables, since my entire family was gamers during the GameCube/GBA era, but stopped playing video games shortly after, and as a result I ended up with everybody's old GBAs, but not enough wires for a multiplayer experience

Eternal Darkness is my all time favorite game due to the unpredicable 'in sane' scenes. Darker than Resident Evil, more puzzling than Zelda and jus down right enigmatic! Billy Hatcher disappointed me in not having any real new things happening in next levels.

Oh gosh! So many of my favorites were in here! xD Custom Robo was actually the game that made me want to get the console in the first place. I remember being in a CompUSA as a kid and seeing the opening cinematic on a big demo screen. I was sold and it became one of my favorite games of all time. I wish they would make a new one. A sequel on the Switch would sell me on that console too (though the Switch's constantly growing library of good games is starting to make me want one anyways). The DS Custom Robo game was good too but it was quite a bit different.
