Great list, Erica. My spending priorities are similar, I spend more on: tailored items like coats and blazers; leather clothing, footwear, bags and belts; silk or cashmere scarves and clothing and jewelry. I tend to keep these items more classic than trendy because my style is classic and it also gives investment items more longevity. I often buy inexpensive cotton, linen or rayon/lyocell clothes like tops, skirts and pants, too.

I love the Equipment silk shirt, I just got one in green. I prefer its crepe de chine to those glossy charmeuse weaves and the two-pocket style, these characteristics make it look more casual than other silk shirts. I don’t always want to look dressy, I just want to wear silk because I can’t wear polyester. I’ll check out VB for silk dresses, my three are all solids and I want a more relaxed, cheerful print one. At least 99% of the silk dresses on offer are black or one trendy bright color, or are too Boho for me, maybe VB will have something.
