In some ways Thomas from Autogefühl has the best balance of honesty and keeping a close relationship with auto makers. He calls out many things and they eventually go and change the stuff (eg. Volkswagen, Mercedes). Mark from Savagegeese was properly honest years ago, Jack has basically put him in the corner and they just spend all the cash reviewing cars nobody wants to see.

Yes! Thomas is great. And I never really watched Savagegeese… I remember watching a few of their videos many years ago but never got much into it. Sad to hear that it’s not what it once was, though.

Just 5 min to talk about the future of Lexus/toyota as a brand. He probably has more inside knowledge of the goals of the companies, and you present the “normal guy’s” view of how that’s not working out 😂. Just keep doing you. It’s worked out well so far.

I always recommend your channel to anyone I know in the market for a Japanese branded car. If anything, I would really wish you could review even more cars! Would even be cool to see imported JDM cars if possible as I think you would have really cool reviews about them.

It’s working for you because you’ve got the right approach. Also, you are fortunate that you can afford to buy cars you want, and the fact it’s mainly focussed on Toyota and Lexus is great, as that’s where I am at the moment as well. Incidentally, Ive not checked the US Lexus site, but will you be getting the LBX? It’s based on the Toyota Yaris cross, which I also don’t know if you get, but when you say the Rav4 is a compact SUV (It’s a big ‘un here in the UK), you may laugh at the LBX!!

Thank you! And no, sadly we aren’t getting the LBX (at least not yet) though honestly I’d rather have that than the UX we do get (Corolla based). It looks great, especially the Morizo edition which I think has been green lit for production but not sure if all markets will get it or not.

Enjoy your channel; glad you're having fun. My current main focus is the Camry Hybrid, Rav4 Hybrid, CX-5 , CR-V segment for a nice quiet drive, with decent cargo and potentially good gas mileage.

The CR-V hybrid looks nice but I'd rather not have a sunroof/moonroof nor black nor leather interior so that's putting it into the ~$45K range at least where I'm estimating ~$32K for the Camry and $34-39K for Rav4 hybrid

Do random videos. The first video I recall I watched of yours is an unboxing or comparison videos of travel bags, or was it beach bags? I would like for you to talk about something I commented on when you both did that road trip re: not being the typical couple who does themed cruise, clubs etc. I'm not sure if it may sway your subscribers away. Or talk about "relationships", the psyche as to why some work and some don't if that makes any sense?
