I’d love to try the Rust Belt, but being that I live in Kentucky, it’s hard to market and an out of state bourbon or whiskey here. I was shocked that you picked it at first over some of the other bottles, but the design of it is one of a kind in the artistry that went behind it. You’re also supporting a local business which I love to see. Cheers man! Great list and gained a new sub!

I like the bottle design of the Rust Belt, too bad it is not available here in TN as far as I can see.

@@johnhall71 I wonder if it’s a way you can order it directly from the distillery.

@ that’s a great thought but I don’t think the laws in TN allow liquor shipments. Looks like a new brand. I get leery of really young whiskey. But it is a super cool bottle.

Chris Stapleton fans like the look of the Traveller bottle, but the whiskey is not well liked by most. I like the look of the Castle & Key bottles, made 5 miles south of Frankfort KY where I live, but the less fancy OCD#5 bottle made next door at Glenn's Creek is better bourbon for most. My 4 favorites are by quality, taste and price, not the looks of the bottle- 100 proof Old Grand-Dad, 100 proof Early Times, 100 proof Coopers' Craft, and 90 proof Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey. All made in either Clermont or Louisville, Kentucky. $21 to $37 a bottle here. Two found everywhere here, the Early Times usually takes a few weeks to find at retail, and I only find the Coopers' Craft at tater stores marked up to $35 or $37.

Totally understandable. This is just a segment of what I feel looks the best on my bar top, not necessarily the juice in the bottle. But more content to come.

I KNEW you'd have Blanton's up there. Nice looking bottle. The booze inside, I'm just not that impressed. I have 3 of them, Hibiki, EH Small Batch and the Macallan 15. OK. That Rust Belt bottle is nice but IMHO, your two best are the Grace O'Malley and the Deau bottle. Just subscribed. Waiting on a review of that O'Malley.

Everyone going crazy for Caribou Crossing must be buying it for the bottle because the actual juice isn’t great. It has very minimal flavor and is super light. Now I will say it’s easy to drink for beginners but it’s nowhere near as good as OG Blantons or especially Rock Hill Farms
@Whiskeats3 ай бұрын
Yeah the topper is what draws you in. Juice is good but thin for sure. It’s good summer whiskey to me.
@ethanmccracken64893 ай бұрын
@ doesn’t have enough flavor for me. It would be the thinnest and least flavorful bottle in my collection and I’d probably never drink it which is why I don’t think it’s a “must have”. I feel like most bourbon drinkers would be disappointed when they tried it.
@Whiskeats3 ай бұрын
@ethanmccracken6489 yeah I hear you. Your correct as well most bourbon proof hounds may not like the subtleties it delivers in flavors. You have to dive for them for sure. I guess because I like scotch and Canadian whiskey which a lot of them are thin I tend to like proof down whiskey as well for the challenge. But I see your point.
@tylergash31753 ай бұрын
It’s definitely overrated, but I enjoy it. It’s thin and light. I love a large variety of bourbons and typically prefer juice that’s over 110 proof or cask strength, but it’s not something that I can drink everyday. Caribou is so light and thin that I could. If I see at at retail, it’s a buy for me, but I’m not gonna go looking for it or pay secondary on it
