Hi Lauren, this is my first time watching you for an entire video. I am so impressed! You are such a calm and relaxed seamstress. You don't cause me stress! And when you showed your mistake you made on the snaps, I was sold! I've never seen a seamstress show their mistakes. They always make everything seem so "perfect." Good job! And you show the video in real time! Just perfect. Your new subscriber!!!

Thanks for this video! I got the paper pattern, but visuals (video tutorials) are easier for me to understand! I just started making this. I'm using metal snaps for the first time. 😁 Also, I need to buy more zippers. Lol

I would like to see the prep work you did with all your pattern pieces. I've purchased this pattern. And I'm using you video to see exactly how to make it. I'm really not sure where I need to put what interfacing. I was really baffled about putting the interfacing on the accent vinyl at the top of the closure. The interfacing gave your lines a much easier to see background. Thanks for this video. Love it.

I finally got around to making the wallet and love the pattern. Your video was soooo helpful. I'm having problems with all the bulk in the corners when I turn the bag, especially on the bottom corners. Any tips on how to eliminate this problem? My next one I've decided to round the corners and see if that help. Thanks you are a great teacher.

Are those hair pin clips you’re using? Are they strong enough? You’re so talented! Love all your video tutorials 😊
@ambercloud27762 жыл бұрын
I am making a batch of these wallets now, and the hair clips work fine. I'm using those and I do long stitch basting to help keep things straight.. The thickest part is the bottom and over the tab, the clips do fine there.
@ambercloud27762 жыл бұрын
Hi Lauren just wondering, if you still make the Minimalist Wallet, and if you could share some tips? I find it's pretty thick on yhe bottom seam and it's pretty hard to turn. I've resorted to rounding the corners on the bottom.

I would like to know what model your Juki sewing machine is. I saw that you said it is not an industrial machine, but it seems to be very powerful and well suited to making bags and wallets. Love, love, love your videos. You are a good instructor.

On your snap tab did you say it was cut at 8 1/2 inches long? and then the snaps go 2" in from the edge before it's folded?

Hi, I loved your video. helped me to understand better since I bought the pattern of how to do it and was a real mess and more being Spanish. I wanted to tell you a question. when you cut the pattern do you do it by the line of the continuous drawing or by the points? and another doubt that when doing the pieces I have 2 that I have no idea where they go, one is an interwoven fabric and the other half interface? where those parts are located I can not locate.
