15 Minute Beginner HIIT Workout | 1800 Steps

This 15 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout will improve your cardiovascular system, burn belly fat, and build overall strength. One exercise is added to each of 5 rounds. So Round 1 starts with 1 exercise and Round 5 has all 5 exercises! Each exercise is done for 30 seconds with 30 seconds of rest. This workout can be done with no jumping or if you're more advanced, add some hops.
Here are the exercises:

✳️ 2: Butt kicks and pull back
✳️ 3: Skater/Arms up
✳️ 4: Step Forward/Back Arms Up
✳️ 5: High knees/Squat

I just found this channel. I'm in my 20s but I fell down the stairs recently and have had one injury after another. I am on the road to recovering but it is taking a lot longer to heal and these videos are the perfect pace to start building up my strength. Thanks ladies. So much fun to work out with someone!!

I am only 61 years young but after working an office job for a long time, I was starting to feel so heavy and tired and sore all the time. I decided I tried to find a workout that I could begin with to reclaim my health but the ones I used to use were too hard for me and the ones for seniors were too easy. I was blessed to come upon the yes2next channel some time in early January. I started out with only a 5 minute standing workout. I was encouraged when April said, “it doesn’t matter how you do it as long as you keep moving.“ I was pretty clumsy at first and so, so tired! But I told myself it’s only five minutes. Then I worked my way up from there to 10 minutes 15 minutes and now I’m at 20 minutes. It took me six weeks to get to this point! I couldn’t have done it without you ladies. I love the rapport between you two and Iko is a gem! ❤ Thank you both for sharing these videos and helping so many people to reclaim our health.

Great workout. I was really confused not on the exercises but the order you were doing them lol! But I did my own thing. See you tomorrow. Am going to have to do this one over until I get the order down for sure. Got my heart rate up too.

Love this workout ! Just finished it. I have to say I felt it in my arms. I used my college yearbook which is pretty heavy. I also wanted to share that I really like the standing and sitting options i your workouts, as this provides a workout option for everyone regardless of their fitness level.

I'm not a huge fan of HIIT workouts but I do occasionally do them. I picked this one which was a day 6 option of your 7 day exercise program which I began a few days ago. I put my all into it and it wasn't as bad as I'd thought. I feel good and I'm glad I tried it. The pattern you chose was definitely something different and I appreciated that! I love doing workouts with you and your mom. You have great camaraderie. I just finished your osteoporosis exercises. I feel great and love the comments throughout the session. I am 76 years old and have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, but I am not slowing down. I love to exercise but I have to be careful about the intensity and impact on my joints.2 months ago I fractured my heel after a cardio workout at my recreation center. I was in a boot for 6 weeks after the fracture. But I continued to exercise by following your chair exercises. Thank you for your support to seniors. Your mom is an inspiration to us. 🤗

I got a late start to my day today, but finally got myself moving with this video and then followed up with some strength and leg exercises. I did the skaters and the high knee jogging with mini-squats; no other hops. Still alternating on this channel between old favorites and workouts I've never tried before. This was my first time for this one, and I've added it to my growing list of workout favorites -- a good length and intensity level for me to use alone when time is limited or with additional exercises when I have more time.👍
