This was incredible. I was literally short of breath in the midst of a panic attack, I’m sure others can relate. I know it was nothing dangerous, but still scary when they happen. I did a search for “non hokey guided meditation” haha because I don’t want my “chakras realigned”, and am new to meditation, so I found this video. 15 minutes later I have my breath back, I’m relaxed, and am ready for bed. I have been listening to meditation channels for more than 10 years. I only recently discovered Declutter the mind and have been doing the meditations for maybe a month. It’s the first time I actually feel like I’m making progress, real, habit forming, present being progress. So Thankyou so much, whoever makes these videos, I am deeply grateful

I find it interesting that about the time I wonder off (around count 5 on the breath) I get this reminder to come on back. It was the first time I didn't just count through the breath and go to ten anyway. It made me much more aware of how quickly I dive into thought.

Out of curiosity, do images and songs that run through the mind count as thoughts? I assume so, but note that especially the latter could be a special category - I am sure we have all experienced those tunes that we can´t get OUT of our mind! That said, thanks for a good practical meditation.
