15 Minute Tucked Abs Workout - Bodyweight Only | Caroline Girvan

Ready for 15 minutes working on the lower abdominal muscles primarily!?
The timer will be on for 45 seconds each exercise followed by straight into the staple of small tucks for 30 seconds! So after each exercise, there will be those small tucks where you are aiming to lift pelvis and tuck so the knees come to the chest!
All you need is your mat and 15 minutes to really engage the deep transverse abdominal muscles and of course the rectus abdominis muscles!
Slow and controlled…. Constantly thinking throughout as you perform each movement aiming to lift with the ab muscles and lower with control!
The staple of a ‘small tuck’ is performed for 20 seconds following every movement!
This small tuck is literally as it suggests… a small tuck involving bringing the knees tight to the chest!

Caroline I have to tell you, after a year and a half that I train constantly with you, that it's wonderful to appreciate the aesthetic changes of my body but, the most important thing, is the improvements in the proper execution of your workout exercises. I have more mastery. This thanks to my much more stable and strong core and the fact that I learned to activate it during training.... It may seem an easy thing to do but it is not so! It needs experience and physical strength that can be acquired only with time, with constancy! "keep your core braced, nice tight"...Thank you, Caroline, for teaching me this! I’ll always be grateful 🙏❤️!

Morning Fiorella...what a lovely comment and so very true! I believe that a strong core is the most important thing of all! Once your core is strong you can build your fitness and workout safely. It allows you to increase weights safely! And in everyday life it is so important too! So many people suffer from back pain and a lot of this could be avoided by keeping the core strong! Caroline’s workouts are just brilliant at keeping the core strong...today’s is a perfect example! Hope you have a great workout today, and, as always, it’s lovely to chat with you! Matthew

Hi Fiorella, learning to know and listen to the body is one of the precious lesson that Caroline thought us. It's incredible the difference when you workout with a real personal trainer , someone really qualified and that someone in this case is the wonderful Caroline. Morning, Matthew! For sure one of my all time favourite ab workouts! That was a serious burn, I loved small tucks in between, they made my lower abs on fire! Finished with 'Cool cardio' which I didn't do in ages. Fun and sweaty! No time for some stretching. Have a lovely active rest day and see you tomorrow!

Thank you Caroline! I absolutely love the advent calendar workouts. Having short workouts every day makes it so easy to stick to because I don't have to decide if today is a day I'm working out or if it is a rest day. I just hit play! Also the length of them makes it hard to come up with an excuse not to workout! Thank you for all your hard work! ❤🎅🤶⛄🎄

Not every time though because I am worried I would end up overtraining if I did that! Hope you have an awesome day!

Caroline, you've nailed consistency in a way that precious few curators have been able to do. Despite the difficulty, these videos feel like the one thing we can depend on to get through some tragically difficult times. @@matthewalmond8274 morning Matthew, no damage thank god. Yesterday was just as windy but very calm now 🙂 wasn't this just fantastic. Concentrated on getting deep into muscles so there was 🔥🔥 but loved it. I should have rock hard abs but don't🙄🙄hope you enjoyed too. Have fun🔥🔥

My ABS got TUCKED in so many ways!! Never thought that tucks could’ve so many variations…the burn was constant & the time flew by!!! Combined it with chilled cardio so I practically am both, tucked in a chilled way, haahaa ⭐️ Thank you Caroline, I’m so excited for tomorrow’s full body workout 🤍

I have done this one many times now, enjoyed it everytime. By the way, my mid section has changed completely since I started working out with Caroline back in 2020.

What a great staple. Loved the layout. Those tucks always create a great burn! I also enjoy the focus it takes during ab workouts to make sure things are remaining tight, controlled and that I am lifting with the proper muscles. Then I just smile or grimace through the burn😆!! Definitely will be repeating this one time and time again in the future. Always love an active rest day ab workout😁! Thanks Caroline. I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season! 🎄

Can’t believe I’m saying this about an ab workout, but: that was fun! I can feel my workout discipline and motivation slowly coming back. Will keep doing these + daily walks for now and hopefully will be able to move on to a series with longer durations in January. 🤞 CG is the best!

Thank you, Caroline! This looks like such a fun and fabulous ab workout. And thank you for the Advent Calendar workouts. I grew up always enjoying an Advent Calendar and yours is by far my favorite 😁 Also, my sweet 62 year old mother noticed a change in my body and strength that has come from working out with you for the last 9 months. Caroline, I hate hate hate ab workouts, but after the last 8 weeks of training with you, I can feel/see how much stronger I've become. I actually did this whole workout, and felt in control of my body. So thank you girlie, even if you torture us with these. So good for the body and mind.

ADD on to day 4 of FUEL. I didn't have time after the workout so this is my Saturday active rest day session. Thank you Caroline I've done this many times since Christmas and it a great one to return to 😁👍.

I suffer from issues in lower back. I was born with it. Years i struggled of chronic backpain. I still am but since i excercise for 1,5 year now i feel much stronger. I worked on a strong core. I do not see difference in my looks but i feel the difference in my body.

Thank you for these shorter workouts they are just what I've needed after nearly 6 months of following health problems ....after 11 yrs of consistent training this setback has impacted on my mental health but with your amazing sessions many of which I've done and everyone saved, I will get my old self back...many thanks you are the best trainer I've ever followed 👏👏

This is like a proper advent. Some days it WoW when you view the trailer (usually the body parts you love working) and some days its like, lets do it, then after you finish you think WoW that was good. I have taken a peak at tomorrow and I know what I'm wishing for. Either way satisfaction guaranteed 😊

FUEL Day 4 Add On: Only made it to 67% after that tough full body FUEL workout, but I'm glad I tried, and that I fit in some ab work. Dang, that Small Tuck Staple is a killer after awhile!

I went a bit off script today by adding this at the end of a step aerobics class just because I was in the mood for a choreography brain teaser. It was the perfect way to finish that class, lying down! I liked the challenge of focusing on not allowing momentum to rule over those reverse crunches, and the chance to practice straight leg sit-ups. I agree with another comment below saying it was quite meditative actually. Even though it was only 15 minutes, I found I got lost in time. Looking forward to tomorrow, as always!
