Move your legs back but keep your hips forward and your ribs open but closed towards your core. Move your shoulders down as you raaaaise your arms but keep your elbows wide but bring them in at the same time. Dean, I'm never confused by your instructions ever :-) . I kid because I'm a fan! Can't wait for the next workout.

Dean, this is fantastic stuff - I do a lot of cycling and weight-type work, especially bodyweight exercises, and I've been wanting to get into yoga for a while to complement all that, and also help with injury protection and flexibility, given that I'm in my forties. I came across your DK book in my local bookstore the other week, and that led me here. Great job - I've subscribed!

I suffered from chronic knee pain for two years. It was difficult to stand after work. I changed my diet, my bed, my shoes, my exercise... I saw a physical therapist intensively for 6 weeks, a chiropractor, and an orthopedic surgeon. Nothing worked. Then I found your videos. 15 to 20 minutes every day, first week felt stupid but stuck with it. After two weeks Knee pain went from a 5 to a 1. After three weeks no pain. 6 Weeks in now and my body has completely changed. You have brought an end to a dark chapter in my life. Thank you.

GREAT routine . I had been using the 'Quick 15 minute morning workout' routine. This morning after doing that first felt I needed some more stretching. This hit the mark. I am new to Yoga been a runner since childhood (now 52), run a Spin Cycle Studio using the Wattbikes. I have been using some of your routines to help with stretching. Love promoting great guys like you, keep them coming :)

I agree!!! I prefer slow and controlled. You have to be able to notice your body and hold the postures in order to really get the benefits.

well between this or some of your other morning routines and your other exercises its 6-7 days a week. it sucks not stretching out a little or working out in the morning
