I'm a left leg above the knee amputee! I have had 4 total amputations so far on my leg. A good prosthetic can make or break a person's quality of life. Congratulations on getting a wonderful prosthetic leg! You got this! ❤

it is great that none of this very positive story was about blame , but all about the fantastic recovery Konrad has made thanks to our NHS emergency response and to the modern prosthetic technology that is now available . I wish Konrad every success in the future , and this is in no small part due to his positive outlook and optimism for the future . I wonder whether transplant technology will ever reach the stage where severed limbs can be transplanted with donor ones ? I know that in some cases severed digits etc can sometimes be reattached , but entire limbs from a donor ?

I'm a below knee left leg amputee and although I don't ride anymore, I wish Conrad all the best for the future, including if he wishes to ride motorcycles again. Life is for living. All the best. Paul.

Bikes are not dangerous , only some of the riders and some of the people they share the roads with .

People can , and do , suffer horrendous injuries in every mode of transport that has ever been invented : I have attended fatal RTCs involving bicycles , motorcycles , cars , vans , buses , as well as trains and aircraft incidents . You can die or suffer serious consequences no matter what you do .
