I finally found the part online. I just bought my 2008 Rubi in December 2022 and I inherited the 08 overfill splash & slow fill issue. Thanks Neil!! This video was helpful, it should be an easy replacement. If anyone needs to do this 'fix' but they need the part, check with your local Jeep dealer for part #: CNNN X321 AC filler tube. If they won't sell it to you then do an internet search/Google for the part number (above) and keep trying dealers who list it as available -- but don't pay over $40 for the part - they are available out there.

Anyone have a gascap light and a P0456 small leak come on because of this?

@@lameckcalvintv nope. I'm about to sell the stupid thing. I get an intermittent p0455,p0456, and p0457 along with the word gascap on the dash. I've replaced the tube, the gascap, the Charcoal canister, the valve on the canister, and my gas tank was replaced by long before I bought the jeep and nothing has worked, I have a fuel tube filter(I read in a few forums the dealer replaced those with the Charcoal canister) and a mopar purge valve on the way and that's my last hope. I've inspected my hoses all around the tank and they are all solid, the tank is new so I know the small white nipple that is a common problem isn't it. If I hadn't just lifted it and put 35"s on it I would sell it. It's been a non stop money pit.

@@Tactical_Pterodactyl_Knives I’m in the same boat, replaced the gas cap, the purge valve, the ESIM, and the charcoal canister just now. I’m worried though because the charcoal canister had no obvious leaks. Have you had any luck?
@Tactical_Pterodactyl_Knives2 жыл бұрын
@@Poindogindustries man I've about had it with this jeep. I can't for the life of me figure it out. I've replaced the purge valve, Charcoal canister, leak detection pump, the gasket, this fuel tube, now I'm about to replace the leak detection pump with a factory one to rule out that as a possibility. I've inspected every hose I can see and feel and nothing. I'm having a smoke test done as soon as I start feeling better and if that doesn't get me anywhere I'm dropping the gas tank

@@dtoole Did you not get a service bulletin for this fix? 2007-2008 Jeep Wranglers have a lifetime warranty fix for this, unlimited mileage (in Canada, anyways). Check with your dealer...

Sam Gruber I ended up finding the part online and installed it myself. Completely fixed my issue! Thanks for checking in
