This is the most reliable and stable car ever made by Toyota, the car drives on all terrains without much prompt.

To those who say Land Cruiser is boring I highly recommend buying a Land Rover - those repair bills will be extremely exciting, no boredom at all.

dear friend ,if traction control is on ,why we need center/dif/lock or dif lock?pls help me
@franciscocabrerabrito59454 жыл бұрын
If a wheel is in the air, the diff in that axle will send the power to that wheel and no power will go to the wheel in the ground (leaving you stucked). Locking diff will force it to work like a solid axle, sending power to all the wheels anytime. Normally you can choose between locking rear diff (rear axle), front diff (front axle) or central dif (both axles).

traction control needs wheel spin. so u need to rev ur engine just a lil bit (in the toyota offoraders with traction control) to get the wheel spin so it brakes the slipping wheel and gives it to the wheel on the ground or with the most traction

@pdrivetv Now that you've reviewed the Cruiser, maybe a comparison against the Land Rover Discovery 4 would be appropriate. Whilst it may not have the stereotypical "Toyota reliability" it's arguably better on and off road in stock form than the Land Cruiser and would be great to se a POV video.
@mostlypostie19 жыл бұрын
+Thomas Close Exactly. And for that much money, a Range Rover Sport too, please. (I own a LandCruiser, and my old man has the RR Sport. Both great cars, but the RR Sport is the most comfortable and the most capable off road in standard trim. +pdrivetv - You will find that people are talking about the soul-less Camry when they give Toyota a hard time about being plain and boring, not the LC!

Appreciate your comments guys. We will do our best to review the Land Rover Disco asap. We have tested both the RR and RR Sport. While they are excellent off-road vehicles, the tyre profile is too low in standard form for really serious terrain, and the body/underbody is more susceptible to damage compared with the LC in our opinion. They also seem more 'electronic' and fragile compared with the LC's super heavy-duty/old-fashioned locking differentials - on the same tracks both the RRs presented a few moments of struggle compared with the LC. Of course, the terrain may have eroded/been slightly different. Totally agree though, all three are superb machines. Cheers

+PDriveTV Couldn't agree more. The RR and RR Sport are a bit thin in the sidewalls hence why it'd be interesting to see the Disco 4 up against the LC as the similarities in elements like tyres and locking rear diffs are greater.

+PDriveTV those power figures are a bit more than my 4.2tdi ford.from 1999,why you say its massive,ever been in an f250,?.its not a 4x4 if it has ifs.plus those wheels arnt big,we start at 35x12,5x18.toyotas cost too much for what they are,after the 80 series its all down hill,1975 2wd f250 coming down nrth w.a,picked up a broken down guy,over corrugates,he fell asleep.best off road car in australia is the jeep unlimited extreme.& cheaper.!!.i hate toyotas.i know your getting paid by them.go test a unimog 2012 with super crawl.
