2017 Audi A4 Allroad 2.0 TDI (190hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60FPS)

Our full Drive & Sound of the all-new 2016 / 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro (B9) as the popular 2.0 TDI delivering 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque through Quattro and a 7-speed S-tronic. Compared to the predecessor A4 Allroad this is a whole class better in terms of ride comfort, cabin noise and of course technology. Most of that is due to the good noise isolation and the adaptive dampers which are offered for the first time. This particular car comes in "Gotland Green metallic" and offers the optional Aluminium pack on the outside. I would also encourage you not to go for the painted side skirt and fenders as it looks better if they are in this rustically contrast material. I'm thinking of buying this configuration soon. Can anyone tell me what the significant difference is between this diesel TDI and the petrom TFSI, both 2.0 and both at 190hp... ? What is the major difference between choosing petrol or diesel?

You can't choose 190 tsi on the allroad. Only the tfsi 250+

If you buy a car equiped with a petrol engine with something around 200 hp, you can expect it to be fairly quick. A car with a diesel engine with around 200 hp is probably slower. However there are other atvantages like it's strength (400Nm), fuel efficiency and reliability. You can expect the diesel engine to last much longer. On the other hand if you have to repair something, maintanance work on a diesel car is likely to be more expensive than on a gasoline car. I would overall choose the diesel if you want the allroad version. If you use it off road, you will be thankfull to have more torque.

2.0 Liter Diesel mit ca. 190 PS sind oftmals die beste Motorisierung für viele PKW. Die animierten Blinker sind für mich ein absolutes Design-Highlight, ansonsten sieht er bischen bieder aus 😩 . Neue Handschuhe btw. 👍

I actually test drove this after a normal a4 and it felt like a less fun a4 on stilts. not a fun driving experience at all.
