Nice to see a review with a quick-shifter, we are all DCT’d out at this stage! Looks like they made a good one.

You were spot on about not needing lots of power for touring. I like to chill & relax when touring and enjoy the scenery. This bike seems ideal for that. Btw John Banks is my local dealership.

a great review thank you. I was thinking of a BMW 1250Adventure, but the cost is prohibitive and to be honest I am getting to old to push/lift heavy bikes. Your honest review has me now looking more seriously at the Honda, which i had considered and then dismissed. I test rode the BMW, my first experience of the quick shifter facility and loved it. Yes it was snatchy in the lower gears, but I found using QS in 3rd 4th 5th it was a real benefit and if you say the Hondas quick shifter is one of the best I think this is the bike for me. I'll speak to my Honda dealer next week.

Thanks for another fine review. I'm really enjoying your no-nonsense reviews that get right to the point. Interesting, when viewed against your Suzuki GXS-1000 GT vs Kawaski 1000SX review. Those two bikes more sports-tourers with more emphasis on the sports, with the Kawa friendlier for touring, if I remember. The Honda looks like a beautiful tourer. 710 PS for the top box seems like a lot. Is that typical? I know you said you preferred the Suzuki for yourself. If you could have any of the three, would the Honda tempt you?
@itchingtoride
@itchingtoride 2 жыл бұрын
Hello. Nice to know you like the videos thanks. That price is for the top box the inner bag and the tank bag. It is a lot of money but it’s genuine stuff. Just to say all three bikes are fantastic. It all depends on how you are going to use them. If you do long trips away like a week or two then then the Honda would be best. If you just go away for a few days and you like a sporty ride at the weekend then the Kawasaki or Suzuki would be best. Personally I like V twin engine’s. That’s why I have a Ducati Multistrada 950 and a KTM 1290 Super Duke R 😬👍

I'm not sure I got from this if the quickshifter was smooth at low speeds, something that is pretty typical. And if you've tried the S1000GT's quickshifter, which *everyone* is crazy about, and how it might compare. I'm looking at the SX, 1000GT, and the NT. In the US, here, it looks like it'll take about 3-4 months before we see inventory in any of them, and confirmation the NT will even be brought here! Thanks for the review!

Hello. The Quickshifter is excellent and great at low speeds to. It’s definitely one of the best quickshifters. I have done a review on the Kawasaki SX and the Suzuki GT. They are all fantastic bikes. They are on my channel. Please take a look. Thanks for watching 👍

I think I can hear that this sounds more like riding a motorczcle than the DCT videos I watched ... just a little bit more engaging ... who needs extra driving modes for the gearbox just for that the bloody thing still needing a little help to find the right gear.
@PiotrTriumphTiger1200
@PiotrTriumphTiger1200 2 жыл бұрын
Can you describe how this quickshifter works? Only up or up / down? Because it is different with motorcycles. How with the precision of operation? Do the gears come in without resistance? Good or average. It's nice that you have such a bike, because everyone rushed to test DCT and there are no tests with a manual gearbox anywhere. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hello. It works up and down. It’s one of the best quickshifters I have used. It’s very good. Not to much effort to change gear. I would definitely recommend buying one. Thanks for watching 😬👍

I'm in the states and am very interested in this bike. Hoping it will be here soon. The dealers here aren't able to compare part # since they don't have info on the NT1100. Would you mind asking your parts guys if these bikes share the same lowering link ?
