The best the Titan was able to muster was 3.5% of the market in 2005. Today it’s at 1.5%. I've had a 2010 Tundra SR5 for 10+ years. My biggest complaint with it are: 1. Not enough lateral support in the seats which results in sliding around some. 2. 58 beeps to let you know the seatbelt isn't latched. 3. Having to press UNLOCK 2 times on the key fob to unlock all doors. 4. Automatic lock after a certain amount of time not opening the truck. 5. I put a 3" lift on mine and STILL can't get tires as large as you can get under a stock Ford F-150. Toyota needs to make the wheel wells larger (or whatever needs to be done) to allow owners to install larger tires without having to put a 4" lift or higher. I am really digging the 2022 TRD Pro. I am hoping I can get one. Hopefully it won't be priced as high as the GMC AT4, Ford Raptor or RAM TRX. I am really hoping the TRD Pro is around $60K max.

you can change the lock/unlock settings, just need techstream or just take it to a toyota dealer and ask them to change it. only takes about 5 min. also im afraid this trd pro will pass 60k since the current pro is about 58k, just a guess on price though

I can't and won't judge the truck as a whole because... I haven't driven it. I'll bet it will last as long as anything, the hybrid power train is most likely great. People will of course rag on it for lack of a V8 but... Get over it. HOWEVER. I am slightly disenfranchised by the stratospheric pricing of new trucks. Where does the common man buy a "decent" or dare I say "modest" truck. For less than say, $60k?

After owning Tacomas all my life which I really enjoyed and loved but due to the need of more hauling and payload needs I just upgraded to a 2024 limited TRD off road 4x4 crew max tundra and I’ll tell you what I’m very impressed with this machine , it did come with a factory 3inch lift from Toyota and must say this truck has so much torque down low in the rpm ,so far I took a road trip that was 1600 miles and the tundra was smooth and quiet super comfy and I averaged around 21 mpg running 70mph . Toyota knocked it out of the park on this tundra super happy with it .

Thanks for the great video! I've owned 3 Tundras and planned to buy a 2022, but the lack of tow hooks is a show stopper for me. I sure hope Toyota addresses this deficiency.

there is some on the front of most of the new tundras, but they are way down under the front bumper so if you were actually stuck there a nightmare to get to

Same! Also the lack of leaf springs or a v8 option. It is no longer an off-roady work truck

The aftermarket crowd have it covered

I have a ‘22 Pro. Lift and 35s so far but I just ordered a new lower front bumper from CBI that has tow hook and winch mounts

Hmm. I like doug demuro's style. That he converts to metric when he tells about cars. Just I little textbox. That's plenty of help to us where we use the right way to calculate things 😅 Something you are considering to do?

On the other hand, just learn the ratios... 1kw=1.3hp 1ft-lb=1.3nm 1kg=2.2lbs 1"=2.5cm 1m=3.3ft

The TRD trim or the Tundra model as a whole? Coz toyota already sold almost ~250,000 of these monsters since its release. The Tundra model i mean, not the TRD trim.
