I got mine Feb 28 came from Austin and I was beyond worried because I heard all this crazy stuff about Fremont vs Austin build. I didn’t have any issues with quality and I’ve been super happy. I randomly grabbed mine from existing inventory on Feb 7th got it on the 28th. So far so good and build quality is surprisingly good. I spent 2 hours going through the vehicle looking for all the stuff on the checklist and didn’t have issues. I’m just happy I got it and can enjoy learning all the features because watching videos are helpful but can be a bit overwhelming because I definitely had anxiety about getting a bad built Tesla! 😂

I test drove the MY LR and then the MY 4680 Gigacast. IMO they were very different ride and feel on a bumpy road. The LR was much harsher and did not feel as solid. The 4680 rode much smoother, quieter and felt like a solid one piece structure. I was surprised at the difference and will buy the 4680 version

Thanks for that, yes you are correct the videos are light for this model. I pick up mine 03/14 identical configuration except for blue. It was nice to see this variant in the video finally. Hopefully, you are enjoying the car, this will be my first Tesla

The induction wheels are fine . Smooth riding . But probably depends on the road conditions. Bumpy potholes ect . I live in Florida. So the car rides great for me .

There's a recall on what you describe as a loose rattle sound coming from the backseat. It's described as one of the bolts for the seatbelt not torqued to spec.

Mine rattles like crazy in the left rear. Had a lot of issues. I got the long range

Does this Austin made 4860 have the large HEPA filter installed? I have searched Tesla’s own website and forums, but cannot find. Seems only the LR from Fremont has it equipped?

Any other difference with the long range outside battery, range, and acceleration? Curious to know if the sound system is as good as the mylr. Thanks
