Impressive groups. Bought a Ruger M77 in 1975 in 22-250, and I settled on 50 gr Nosler spire points. Shot hundreds of varminst of all types for over 30 years. I basically shot the barrel rifling out of it. 12X Leopold still good after setting in trucks, sun and racks for nearly 5o years!

I have a 22 250 Ruger Mark II it's a real shooter also! Very accurate! I take it white tail hunting down here in South Texas every year. I shoot my first deer of season with it. I've never had a problem knocking down a deer with that rifle! Have fun with yours. They're fantastic!

40 years ago I had a Remington 700 ADL in 22-250 I took a couple of good corn fed whitetails but really liked it for coyote and fox and ocationally went to the center of the state to hunt the prairie puppy. The bullet was so fast that you could find most of the little varment parts scattered 30 to 40 feet behind where the were sitting. Lots of fun to shoot and real light recoil ment you could sit for hours competing against a 243 Winchester and a 6mm Remington, all good garment to deer sized game rifles.

I’m not sure if there is a difference, or if it’s just a new box design, but I’ve taken a few deer with the old Remington premier accutip 22-250 50 grain. Stuff is very accurate. This ammo is great for head shots, so you don’t damage any meat. Furthest I’ve harvested was 125 yards.

Yes the. 22-250 is much, much more than a .223 . Over 4000fps equals a very flat trajectory. Reaches shoot n see targets out at 300 yards instantly, no waiting for the bullet to impact.

Great video!!! I sure hope soon that Remington starts back in selling components, especially primers. I like their brass and there old powerlokt hollow points. They were cheap, accurate and did a number on ground hogs. Unique that they had a concave base. Today's tipped bullets are hard to beat. Once again, great video. I tap on the adjust dial lightly after I click it. Loaded a lot of 22-250 when I had my license. Loved the round but went with a Swifter. Might just get one someday

I don’t know the last time I bought a box of factory cartridges. I reload everything. 22-250 will kill a deer but this bullet isn’t designed for deer hunting. My experience is that the bullet doesn’t have enough penetration. Use a bonded bullet if you plan on shooting deer.

Well good sir, no buck for me this year. I put 5 days in and hiked some 40 miles in area 71 in Idaho. It was very thin this year. Out of 8 other hunters I talked to, Olney one was successful. The local fish and wildlife biologist claims it was the heat. No luck... however.... I limited out on grouse and got an absolute trophy blue grouse and a duck. Plenty of sharp tail around as well. So not for nothing but I wish I could have at least had opportunity.

Pro tip, you can sight in with 2 shots. Aim dead center and shoot. Then since your rifle is in the lead sled. Making sure it doesn’t wiggle around. Turn the turrets on your scope till the crosshairs line up dead on your first shot. Your second shot will go where you want it to.
