230520 JMAC Engine Shop Rebuild Completion video on an MGB 1800 (Fred)

This video is an MGB 1800 rebuild completion. JMAC Engine Shop rebuilt this motor from the ground up. It was bored to the next over size and the crankshaft was turned to the next undersize. It has all new bearing and pistons. New valve guides, seals, rocker shaft and springs were installed in the head, the valves were ground and compression side of the head was planed. The customer did not want me to do too much in the way of performance so I improved the cam and installed 8.8:1 pistons and left it at that. Compression numbers were 140-145 psi on three of the cylinders, #3 was a little lower at 136 psi but that will come in line with the other as it breaks in. The oil pressure was 75 psi at start up idle, dropping to 65 psi when the engine was well warmed up. The pressure went back up to 75 psi when engine speed was raised to over 2500 rpm.
