These leg lifting moves got deep into the areas that are hard to reach! It felt so good that even when my leg was screaming and shaking, I couldn't stop. I love your workouts and this one is definitely in the top two. You rock!

I had to do extra stretching after this one. YES! I agree it must be good exercise for the feet because my feet were tired.

I did this one right here this evening with another workout (the ball and the pretzel and abs too thats 3 workouts in all) I was arrogant enough to think i could do the kettle bell and man I am glad i listened to my body...i just ditched it...I noticed that since i have been doing these workouts I have been having lesser and lesser pain. Forgive me if i post too much but you have got to realise that I work out for over an hour generally but for the past month I have began to realise that less is more....I am not hopping around the place barely being able to walk at times in fact, it became a ritual for me to massage in pain killer ointments on a daily basis in order to get through the day at work so i would not feel EXCRUCIATING pain in both my Achilles and I have been limping around less because this workout in particular strengthens my ankles and knees Thanks again

I am so glad my workouts are helping with your injuries. I have felt very blessed to hear that many of my viewers who suffer from injuries have benefited from my workouts. I have had many injuries over the years and always try to find a way to work around them and strengthen the weaker muscles that are more injury prone. :)

Love this one!! It's perfect how it really hits everything with a great emphasis on the back of leg. Speaking of which, I'm so thrilled how you've come out with more and more back of leg workouts! I have been adding them in several times a week. I paired this one with your 100 Rep Inner and Outer Thigh workouts.

Yes, I love working back of leg so that's why you are seeing more of them. That's my problem area so I am always trying to find ways to get in there! :)

Yeah, my problem area as well!! I'm seeing progress in tone and strength with your workouts though: )

Completely wicked workout, thank you! Only doing these for a little while now - - a hip injury on the right and ankle injury on the left are starting to come good as a result. Proper chuffed with the range of motion increasing. I'm starting to be able to do things I used to be able to do before the accident. Definitely will be doing this one over and over. A big squishy thank you Linda!

Awesome. I am so happy that my workouts have helped you with recovery. I have had my fair share of injuries so I have had to produce workouts that work around them that often isolate specific muscle groups. 😃

Hi Linda, you know how much I like your videos, and I would like to know if the exercises that you do on this video make gain weight for the legs? I'm looking for a workout to make my legs gain waight and not be skinny anymore. Thanks.
@barlatesbodyblitz8 жыл бұрын
Hi, you will build some muscle, but if you want to really want to bulk up your legs you are better off doing heavy weights workouts and eating plenty of protein. :)
@debdattabhattacharya62548 жыл бұрын
While doing the last set of exercises (one leg at a time) I started feeling some pressure on my lower back. I know that shouldn't be the case. What am I doing wrong ? can you please help ? thanks.
@barlatesbodyblitz8 жыл бұрын
Hi, do you mean the leg raises where you are leaning on the chair? Perhaps you are not keeping your back flat enough. Try not raising your leg quite so high and concentrate on holding your tummy in really tightly whilst keeping your back really flat. Hope that helps :)

it can be hard to stay on your toes for that long if you are not used to it. You can still do the exercises with your feet flat 😀

This was fun but let's be real. When you say 'This was intense, we have for sure burned a lot of calories!' it's a bit of an overstatement. We burned exactly 85 calories, really really not much. About 5 min of jump roping in a 25 minute long workout. Still liked it very much but it's misleading to say ' a lot of calories'.
@barlatesbodyblitz8 жыл бұрын
Hi Andra, glad you enjoyed it. Everyone burns calories at a different rate so the 85 calories you burned is a number personal to your specifications and fitness level. Compared to a regular, traditional barre workout the pace of most of my workouts is quite a bit faster, so in the genre of barre the calorie burn would have been considered quite high. I did not wear a heart rate monitor at the time so I can't tell you what my personal burn was, but judging from how I felt I think I would easily have burned more than 85 calories. Sorry if you thought it was misleading.
@andramertilos8 жыл бұрын
Linda Wooldridge thanks for your answer, indeed we burn calories at a different rate. I will focus more on mind-muscle connection next time to make sure I am maximizing the burn ;-)
