DESCRIPTION
Work your glutes and outer thighs to sculpted perfection using a resistance loop for extra challenge. Using traditional barre Pilates mat exercises you will work your butt from every angle. These exercises are designed to lengthen and strengthen the muscle all at the same time so you will create a longer, leaner physique.The band really increases the intensity! The tougher your loop the tougher the exercises will be so you will never outgrow this workout! Don't have a loop? You can just tie a resistance band in a knot!

Just got a spin bike the other day... tonight i went for a 30 min run on the tredmill then 30 min on the bike followed by THIS WORK OUT WITH A FABRIC BAND!! Holy crap im dead 🤣

Lately I have been searching the KZbin for exercises for strengthening the glutes and thus found this. You have created one of the best ways to target them. They're doable and easy to follow... although I couldn't do all the reps . That's because I'm new to exercising and 56 years old. You are a very strong girl ,Linda.

you can do them every other day. It depends on how sore you are too. If you are not sore you can even do them every day 😊

The workout targeted the glutes intensely!! Also hamstrings, and inner thighs, moderately. I didn’t have a loop, but it was plenty of burn without it. Linda, the tuck cue and focus r really unique to your workouts, and r so effective and inducing the burn: thank u!

Ha Ha! Yes, the loop work is particularly tough. I use the loop all the time, nearly every day in my own workouts and I worked my way up from this easier green loop to the medium, heavy and now extra heavy. Your body gets stronger surprisingly quickly! Just hang in there :)

But I have serious problem with my hip, so if you can sometimes remind people not doing this or that when you explain during the videos, btw always very clear and precise. Have you tried this one with 2 loops - one around the ankles and one around the thighs? Or with ankle weights and the loop!!

I did it with 2 loops and almost died lol!! I have done it with the band and my lightest ankle weights (1.5 lb) and it was killer too. I'm going to really love the 2 bands- thanks for sharing the tip!

What a way to end my workout day! This burned so much...just when we finished the side series, I thought, “glute bridges shouldn’t be too hard.” 😂 LOL...I should know by now that nothing you do is easy! Wow...total fatigue. I had to just close my eyes and zone out at the end! 😂🔥 Day 29 of the advanced challenge complete! 😅

Yes, the band does increase the burn. You will get stronger if you do it consistently though. If it burns too bad just take the band off for a while! :)

Glad you liked it! When you tuck under you engage your lower abs and hips a lot more whereas a regular up and down glute bridge is more for the glutes alone 😊

pretty much all of them will do that. The resistance loop ones are particularly good, or the ankle weight workouts 😀

It will build some muscle, but not as much as weights would. It will build your smaller supporting muscle fibers 😊

Great burn! Im trying tone and tighten without the bulk should i do this with my own body weight, resistance band or ankle weights? I already have a bigger butt. Want a smaller tone legs and thighs without adding size.

These sort of exercises with the loop won't add size. If you are doing heavier weights that's what will add the bulk so I would cut down on those and do more of these mat style workouts and cardio for fat loss. 😀

Hi, sorry for late reply somehow I missed this one. Can you raise your hips instead of tucking at all? If not you can try it in table top position (on all 4s) and do glute raises instead.

yes, if you are not used to these type of exercises they will make you sore for days. You will get used to them with time though, so hang in there 😊

I was wondering if this would increase the indentation on the side of the buttocks or fill it out? I'm trying to round it out and get rid of love handles

It won't fill it out because you that is really something genetic. You would have to decrease fat in that area so that the dent is not as obvious. It will definitely help with the love handles 😀

That's a hard question to answer because everyone burns calories very differently. I would say 200 odd is about the max if you have relatively good fitness and aren't over weight. 😊
