Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today Shifu Yan Xin shares with us a 25 minutes intense (advanced) Full Body Kung Fu Workout that will help you build your Fitness, Stamina and Endurance and take them to a higher level.
This is a hard training session, be prepared, but the reward is high as well.
There is we start with a warm up, then 10 movements each 2 minutes with 15 seconds rest in between.

Shifu, would you recommend that those who are more out of shape to cut the time in half (so, instead of 2 minutes each, go down to 1 minute and build up to 2 minutes)? And possibly increasing the 15 seconds cooldown to 30 seconds?

This man is an absolute beast. It was a mistake to know what an intense 25 minute workout is for this man. 2 minutes each on a 15 second rest? I would pass away trying to finish this. Rest in peace whoever did this and succeeded

No harm in scaling back two of these exercises at first. For the basic burpee + kicks + punches, do fewer burpees and more kicks and punches. For the pushups, ignore him, get on your knees and do the Tyson pushup. Of course, the objective is to keep up with him eventually!

@@juniorbusato5741 eh it was a bumpy ride at the start but I eventually did it everyday for about a month then I stopped, I still do it occasionally tho it's fun and I keep coming back to it

I've been training in Kung Fu for a while, so let's see how I do. But with a family and only being able to train 1-2 a week my fitness needs help!

It's not too bad if you can get through it once. If you know your body you can easily pace yourself through the exercises, as long as you keep going that's all that matters and then you build up from there. It's actually only 20 min of the actual workout, you can do it (whoever 'you' is)!

Thanks for another great video, Shifu! I have a question: when you warm up you seem to dedicate only a few seconds to each exercise. Is that actually good enough or are you merely showing which ones you suggest doing? Before discovering your channel I used to work at least fifteen seconds per body part (even more for knees and hips), hence my question. Thanks in advance for your reply, and thank you so much for the fantastic work you're doing spreading your knowledge and enthusiasm on KZbin. Working out is so much more fun and effective since I started following your videos. All the best!

instead of having big meals 3 times a day have smaller meals but more often, then situps is good, pushups + holding like in this video (when u hold try to pull in your stomach keep it tight) and over time it will slowly reduce stomach. I might be wrong but that's why I think i'm not expert. It helps me tho.

I'm doing this training every day to have more stamina, today I was going to skip it because I'm sick to my stomach but I did it anyway, I finished just in time to run to the bathroom 😆

This is some nice warmup aka training. I've been practicing Wing Chun for 3 years a while ago and now do Boxing. This training has elements both from rope jumping, kung fu long distance jump training, static planks and boxing warmup punching elements. This is perfect when you don't have will and powers to make a full training for 1.5 - 2 hours but just to keep in shape. Thanks so much for this balanced high intensive training.

@@KUNGFULIFE-shifuyanxin 对,我也是这样想的,夏天来了,该动起来了。我在巴黎,准备去释延麦的武馆开始练武,就是那个在少林寺待了十年的非洲人,外号非洲李小龙哈哈,很强! 我女朋友从08年到现在练了12年武术了,我那时候去少林寺就是陪她的,学了一些功夫皮毛和养生功法,五步拳,八段锦,少林十三式之类的,那段时间天天早上五点多起床开始训练,一天三练,精神头很好。很怀念那种状态,现在先跟着你的视频学起 :-)

Also, Fu life you may not know this but tell me is Jeet Kune Do the Forerunner of mixed martial arts like people have said yes or no

Jeet Kune Do is more about finding what works for you and honing that skill. It's about simplicity. If you study 20 different martial art "styles" you will suffer in a fight as you constantly try to think "what will work here". However, if from those 20, you can find a few techniques that you can do well and you practice those and forget the rest, you will never have to think about how to handle a fight situation. Bruce Lee was always looking for simple, straightforward, attacks. No interest in flashy stuff. Pull hair, bite, claw at eyes. If you're in a street fight, anything goes. MMA has rules. The street doesn't. That's why Jeet Kune Do is referred to more as a philosophy, an idea, not a style. Hope that answers your question. Search Bruce Lee Longstreet.

It's been years since I did any sort of regular workout and chose this one because i love martial arts. I fell into a couch coma at 15 minutes. After taking another look at the video I see it's high-intensity. Now I don't feel so bad lol. My new goal is to make it to 16 minutes!! 谢谢你的锻炼!

Question I got I was watching the old TV series Kung Fu not sure if you’re familiar with it But they show the David Carradine When he became of Shaolin Monk There was a boiling hot cauldron It had the symbol of a dragon and a tiger And he pressed his forearms up against it which branded Symbols on his forearms Is there any truth to that ?

After few years of martial art then being French Savate competitor, it is real pleasure to follow your differents kung-fu exercises and mindset.
