Lötschberg bis Brig ist eine wunderbare Strecke oberhalb des Wallis Tal. Ich erinnere mich, dass früher als Kind der Autozug von Kandersteg bis Brig gefahren ist im Februar als wir in die Skiferien gefahren sind. Lange ist es her.

Many thanks for a truly memorable video. In 2001 I travelled from Luzern to Brig, via the Lötschberg tunnel. My hotel in Brig was right opposite the narrow-gauge station, and looking out the window, I saw trains coming down the opposite mountainside. Zermatt was my next destination, then the Glacier Express to St Moritz.

I really enjoy this video. As I know very little about Switzerland, much less its railroad system, I appreciate the location and information added, and in English is an extra bonus. The high beams were on in the tunnels. On those locomotives you just don't notice much difference.

Und wie von Ihnen gewohnt, wieder ein fantastisches Video in der schönen Schweiz. Für mich als "Flachländer" aus dem Land zwischen den Meeren ( Schleswig-Holstein ) etwas ganz besonderes. Wir haben keine hohen Berge, aber dafür u.a. Deiche, Schafe, die Nord- und Ostsee mit seinen Inseln und Stränden und das ist ebenfalls fantastisch! Auch wenn ich zwischen den Bergen nicht ewig leben möchte ( mir würde irgendwann der Blick zum Horizont und besonders Abends dort die untergehende Sonne die ins Meer versinkt irgendwann fehlen ) es ist in diversen Regionen der Schweiz wunderschön! Danke für's mitnehmen, auch auf diese Fahrt. Ich freue mich schon auf weitere interessante Aufnahmen.

Vielen Dank für dieses Hammer Video, Du hast Dir ja echt mal richtig Mühe gemacht - zusätzliche Kamera zum Zug nach hinten, und dann all die Infos ... sensationell! Außerdem hatte ich immer schon die Hoffnung auf eine Führerstandsfahrt über die Südrampe in südlicher Richtung; Dank Deines Videos kann man jetzt auch diese Ansichten genießen, und es gibt in dieser Richtung ja auch deutlich mehr Gegenzüge 👍🏼 Perfektes Video, werde sicher noch ein paar Mal reinschauen. Great vid! 👍☺ I had been on holidays to Switzerland with my parents years ago and once we went to Kandersteg and Thun via Goppenstein from Wallis by car. I am pleasantly surprised that the cars going through the tunnel by train is still there! It has not changed much, though I knew of the new base tunnel below which trains go through with speed of 250km/h. I like going on holidays to Switzerland every year and I have been all around there as far as I know, but we are not driving a lot and far nowadays (more staying around Lake of Geneva) because of my parents' high ages. That's life. 😕 But thanks very much for sharing this splendid trip together with invaluable information! 👋😉

The descent into Brig is one of the most exhilarating train rides in Switzerland. Since the opening of the basis tunnel, I don't have much chance to go by the Kandersteg - Goppenstein route, so it was wonderful to watch the video. It brings back many happy memories. Thank you so much! Like some other subscribers, I find the rear views slightly distracting. Not too bad on the top right, (like a driving mirror!) but I don't like it on the left side. I'm pleased you will be uploading a video of the forward facing camera.

Tisztában vagyok vele, hogy mozdonyvezető "Vezérként" is nagyon nehéz lehet ellenfényben megfigyelni a jelzőképeket, de így KZbin-os nézőként szinte lehetetlen. Miért nem húzta le a fényvédő napellenzőt, ez talány számomra. Ez a nappal szembeni szakasz így élvezhetetlen. Legközelebb ilyesmire érdemes odafigyelni.
