The Norse and Gaelic used breathing as well. The West has had these for thousands of years too. Norse with Galdr, Gaelic used rosc poems and singing. Shamanism in the West is the same as in the East. Same principles.

Thank you George. 1) Natural breathing. 2) Baby breathing. 3) Reverse breathing. a) Water channel b) Fire channel c) Wind channel 1) Small Circulation 2) Grand Circulation The nose filters out the air, and contains endocrine glands that release nitric oxide, a vasodilator. Doing the belly breathing the diaphramatic wall massages the hollow organs. Removing waste and bringing oxygen enriched blood through the organs. All the best. Laoshr #60 Ching Yi Kung Fu Association

These techniques should be taught in all schools and should be compulsory to have short breathing/mindfulness sessions throughout the working day, to help the children's learning and mental state. I think it would desolve ego and help kids connect better and have more compassion for eachother.

That would be transformative for sure!!

Thank you so much for this ,breath is so often forgotten. Great quotes too. So important to remember to use the belly and allow the breath to expand all of the rib cage , and use all the intercostal muscles, also the lungs go right up to just under the collar bone. So important for us all but particularly those with lung challenges. Nose breathing So important too. Great research and resource for us all . Many thanks 😊

I was in England some years ago, in march. I spent three days wandering the forest, sleeping in a hammock. The nights were really cold, and my sleepingbag was not warm enough. Each night I would wake up to do Wim Hof breathing. On the first night I had tied my hammock wrongly, so the rain were soaking me. I woke up being wet and cold, and the only thing I could really do was breathe. That was some powerful breathing that sent me straight from being awake into a dream. I woke up through the night and did the breathing. And then as I woke up in the morning, I was dry, my sleepingbag was dry, my hammock was dry. And it wasn't warm outside. That was really cool!

Hi George, I just want to express my gratitude for all the beautiful and hard work you put into these video lessons. You explain things so well in a clear and understandable way. I’m pretty new to Taoism but your videos help me a lot in understanding and exploring this ancient wisdom. And I can say, it is really changing my life for the better. Also love your ‘move and meditate with George’ sessions as I had an interest in starting a Qigong practice but didn’t know where to start. The five animal Qigong you are teaching at the moment is a good entry point for me which I enjoy very much. Thanks and best wishes to you from Holland!

Thank you very much! *The Way of Knowledge is being given through secret and mysterious means to individuals everywhere, in all races, cultures and worlds.* This represents the work of the Divine. Beyond the tribal interpretations of any young race in any world, this represents *pure Knowledge and pure spirituality.* It is unalloyed with the traditions of any world to which it is sent. Thus, it represents a real challenge in learning and a great opportunity for true understanding and greater ability. From: *Greater Community Spirituality* Chapter 11: *What is your preparation for?* by *Marshall Vian Summers*

What can’t we go without the longest? The breathe. So damn str8 it’s sacred af I can’t begin to convey how much breathe work exercises saved me from certain diseases. Was it easy no did I like it no but I sat down an breathed three times a day an let the body do what the body does after stacking air an holding onto the veil. An the body fixed everything. With air. Peace cheers an I love the exercises now! That I see it saved my life but elevated my mind body spirit complex to a new level of joy an bliss.

Dear George, thank you for sharing your insights. I have experimented with the 4,7,8 - breathing method and found out that I feel a huge difference between the sitting position and the lying position. When I sit 4,7,8 seems to be fine. Whilst lying my natural breath length seems to have increased that much that I multiply it by three. 12, 21, 28. - or even four: 16, 28, 32; I wander if other students or teachers have the same experience.
