❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Since you are a true racer and this is supposed to be a true track car. They should have let you be a tester of the car from beginning before putting car out. They could've let you throw everything at it to see how it responds, then work all the kinks out before putting it out to public. I dove a tractor and trailer for 28 years and had to deal with this stuff in my industry. People with college degrees trying to tell us what we needed and how to drive. I had 1½ million miles of safe driving and they took a ride around the block. Dodge needs to be dealing with you directly. I hear a lot of people talking about that tire spend, they should have came with bead locks.

The stock suspension just seems so loose and sloppy, along with the car sitting so high. That mixed with the tires spinning on the wheels has got to be killing the times. Either way, you killed it with what you had. Ohh, and i miss the Sunday morning breakfast lives...... I personally with the amount of money invested into the Demon 170 after the fist slip of the rim I would have gone straight to beadlocks so not to risk major damage if that tire had letgo..

There are a few already running 8.9s, but they had to run different wheels to prevent the tires spinning on the rims…and to prevent damaging those expensive carbon wheels. I see nothing wrong with changing wheels.

I've had decent luck using hairspray to mount drag radials for DOT tire classes. The way the torque comes in on these cars, I'm pretty sure beadlocks are going to be needed.

On my 8 second fox body I use spray hi tac red gasket spray on the rims and tires and it holds. Car has ran 8.72 @160 and tires do not spin on rim

my race star rims have knurling on both side of the rims to help or prevent slipping I will see this spring if they work or else I will have get bead locks. but im only 800 to the tires on a mustang dyno. if the stock dodge rims don't have the knurling I believe there are places that can do it for you.

The trans tune and or some sensors are screwing with it for sure... FYI.. Before I got beadlocks on my nitrous windsor stroker fox body, I used hi tack spray gasket glue the red stuff to glue my tires to the rims.. over a foot of spin is a lot, seems odd.. I guess its a heavy car making big torque though.. The hi tack worked wonders.. I was getting 3-5in of slip and the hi tack would cut it down to less than an inch..

That tire slip on the rim and algorithm in the ecu are saving your diff, axles and trans from getting destroyed. They are also holding you back from running 8’s. Best of luck.

I know you will figure it out Herman. As far as Ford and Chevy having this problem? First you have to make a production car that makes 1025 HP. I am not aware of any other American mass auto producer that makes that much HP. So you are in uncharted territory. The other auto companies may never face these kinds of problems. Because they may never make that kind of power. And before someone says Tesla. Apples to oranges. Electric car with all wheel drive all the Nannie’s needed for traction control.
