Hey Charlie, I wanted to point out two things that came to mind during this practice. I really enjoyed the sequences in this class for they expand on a more dynamic sequence of poses and transitions than I’m used to, so I was definitely challenged in a great way. The second thing is a little encouragement for those who might feel discouraged during a power yoga class: 4-5 years ago, I would’ve seen this class and immediately would be triggered with my fight/flight response. Since then, I’ve been making yoga and strength training a regular practice in order to challenge my body and mind to understand I am still safe at my ‘edge’ and can always use alternatives if necessary to meet myself where I am that day. It’s okay to take things slow when trying to grow in your practice! We all have been there! This was another excellent class and I’m looking forward to the next. Thank you Charlie for sharing your practice with us! Namaste

I chose a class at random- thinking I chose one that I haven’t done in a long time….. and I can see my last comment 3 months ago. This class is crazy. I’m not gonna lie- I think to myself that I’m not gonna do this… I don’t want to. Then I tell myself, but Betsy, you LOVE wild thing. Thank you for being so disciplined in your practice and your work to make it do able but so hard that I want to kinda quit a little. But then say noooo you’re not a quitter! Do it!

Wow that was fiery! I have so much respect for your strength and fluidity! I couldn't keep up after about 5 minutes. In a split second I thought about stopping the video but then decided I want to work on the core and arm strength needed to follow a flow like this. So I did a bunch of yoga exercises for abs, arms and legs in stead while you kept me company on the screen. Thank you for this video and hope in time to be able to follow along!

Awe Marie I love your attitude. Thank you for continuing with what worked for you. I am so happy this class didn't deter you but instead you took it an an opportunity to focus on the things you needed to do to build strength. Thank you for sharing your story x

Yesterday I felt like a mess- hard time moving through the poses and getting my feet forward - but my kid pulls my lower back once every 6 months and it was still hurting. Today I woke up better. All the twists helped with the tightness. Healed quicker. But this morning I was feeling 39. Then I got warmed up. I’ve lost so much puffiness and have gotten more sculpted. I’ve always been the sporty muscular girl. I was having trouble accepting that. Im glad I tried your video a few weeks ago. I love to push myself and do the things that most people go 😮 to. I have adhd and bipolar and the excercise is necessary for my mental health. Plus it’s nice having my clothes stay where I put them when I go about my day and work out. When I first started 10 sizes ago … pitiful gross diet…I remember crying the first few weeks cuz I spent so much time putting my clothes back where they went because squishy doesn’t keep clothes in place. I FELT icky. I don’t care about the weight. Cuz I’ve lost 35 pounds but it looks like 60 cuz I’m ripped! Thanks Charlie. I’ve been doing the float. And the “airtime” jump. 😅. I got so frustrated that I couldn’t get my hips up. But it was my brain stopping me. You make it seem so normal and easy. I was like uh duh.

I did this one two days ago…. 😊. Lol i forgot to write it in my journal. Oops I’m going through the 30 days again unless there’s a new one - this one is especially difficult in my opinion. Kicking myself cuz once I start past 8 minutes I just finish it. I’m proud that I can even do those small wrist warm ups at all. A year ago my hands used to hurt so bad that they felt like they’d explode. I never thought I’d be confident carrying anything especially dishes ever again. Doing these simple hand flip pushes is huge for me !

a wonderful vid and a good view of the great moves displayed nice power yoga flow for the wrist movements at around 0:40, is the speed relevant or simply the frequency until it is 'warmed up' ?
@CharlieFollows2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, to answer your question the speed helps with circulation to the wrists.

This is a great one when you want to sweat!! I was getting a little air time on the jump forward to malasana. I figured out if I close my eyes when jumping up into malasana I get air time…anyone else close their eyes when jumping from down dog to forward fold or malasana to go further? Is this something other people do, too??

Pls change ur routines. It is just side plank, skandasana, warrior 2 and plank. 90% of your vids are really like this? 30mins of pressuring the wrist is not a good practice.
@elizabethlloyd301317 күн бұрын
They actually aren’t just a couple of poses. She is a fan of using side plank, skandasana malasana in her flows- but there are 50 others that I do on a regular basis working with almost her entire library of videos. - this is a HEAVILY wrist dependent practice but It’s a 30 days. That, in a way showcases her range at the time- its supposed to be “challenge yourself” it’s more of a boot camp in my opinion But if you do from beginning to end 1-30 you do a little of everything, and feel like you had flexibility wrist strength balance focus- all of it challenged
