These classes are generally excellent, but I worry about this approach to wheel and the potential damage it could do to wrists by twisting while so much weight is on them. I injured my elbow transitioning into side plank once by twisting from wild thing and wish the yogi had given more warning in advance.

Wow this challenge really makes me SWEAT! I feel my limits being pushed every day and already feel myself getting stronger 💪🏻 this practice felt super intentional, and though wheel was always available to me, today I felt extremely strong and grounded, and I felt really connected to my body. Thank you Charlie!! Can't wait for day 6 ❤

I'm beginning again on day 5, after a busy spring in the garden that kicked my booty! It feels so imperative to stretch and strengthen my amazing body. I say "amazing" because of the hard work it was able to do, long hours of shifting earth and planting seed...pulling weeds and digging. With the proper nutrition, my body was regenerating even while breaking down. Embrace what your amazing body is able to do, my fellow Charlie Follows yogis! Thank you, Charlie, for being the most accessible teacher I have found here. I will definitely keep supporting you on into the future❤

You're such a fantastic teacher! You break poses down into manageable bits that make everything fall into place easily. I honestly felt so proud of myself for being able to lift one leg off the ground in wheel (albeit not far off the ground) but I've never been able to do that in my 35 years! I am so chuffed and sweaty 😂 your teaching is unmatched and I'm loving this new challenge so far. Thankyou so much Charlie for making me feel confident in myself ❤

Hi Charlie! Thank you so much for the lesson. I have been doing your classes every day ever since I saw you 30-day challenge back on January 1. Of course back then I failed to come into a full wheel, as I hadn't been practicing yoga for a long time. But today, I DID IT, I DID IT!! I never even knew I could, so that was a pleasant surprise. It came at a prefect time too, as I started to get disappointed with myself because I wasn't seeing any results of my practice, but I now know they are there even if I don't see them immediately. Thank you so much for the emotions I have experienced today. You are awesome 💙💙💙

Great class again, even if it was quite easy for me as I’ve been doing wheels since I was a child and thru to my old age! I did find that I needed to go straight to the version up from supine - my usual rise up - because my wrists are as weak as they’ve always been, and I don’t want to risk injury at my age by turning my wrists as they hold my body weight. A tip for counterbalancing sore wrists after wheel is to make fists, fingers pointing down, and push your thighs away like that, (instead of a flat palm with the fingers pointing up). I feel relief in my wrists that way, as well as my lower back. The backdrop and bird calls were a lovely accompaniment again. Thanks Charlie😊

Having felt strong and youthful in day 4, proclaiming I have yet to reach my physical peek at near 40, I threw my back out gardening and was reminded that age comes in many forms. I think I herniated a disk in my lumbar region so this session’s title scared me a bit. I’m happy that after only a day of rest I felt comfortable with this exercise with only minor modifications and it probably helped my recovery along. I don’t think I’d be recovering that fast if I hadn’t been practicing yoga with Charlie so much lately!

It was my favourite practice so far, though they are all amazing! I only appeared to encounter, that my wrists are rather the bottleneck for the wheel rather than the back. The back was very well warmed up thanks to all the asanas for preparation, but I felt high tension and pressure on my wrists. It would be great to progress through some practice for wrists specifically, to prepare them for the wheel in some of the next videos.
