I do not know if these videos are your favorite to make or not and how they impact you financially. But let me say that they are immensely helpful for us who are not very good at stretching or have tendon injuries (like me and my shoulders). Thank you so much for making this content available and keep up the great work!

It's cool that you always incorporate some mobility drills into flexibility work. First of all mobility and flexibility (these are slightly different things ifa nyones wondering) go hand in hand, second of all you don't wanto to become super flexible with no strength to control it so it's nice little balancing act to keep it all varied. I've been doing a lot of your routines in the last year and I'm really enjoying some of those. Full body mobility V4 is my new favourite. Keep it up Tom :)

Hi Tom, a 40-45 minute stretching combined with some core exercises would be great. This class has been scratched from our local sports centre due to lack of interest after Covid but it was perfect for us and had become an important part of our week. So during the 6 week strict lockdown of 2020 (we live in Spain) we found you. My husband is a keen cyclist and I spend a lot of hours at a desk so your content is really helpful to both. Thank you!

Thanks so much for all you do! I have been doing your upper body flexibility follow-along when I do lower body days during my rests between sets. I just pause the video when I need to do another set of pistol squats or whatever. Then I do the lower body flexibility follow-along on my upper body days. My workouts have stayed roughly the same length but now instead of scrolling reddit during my rests I am making mobility gains!

Dude I really like your routines. I did the 15 Minute Beginner Stretch Flexibility Routine today and it was challenging in some areas but very doable for this 66 year old. Too be fair I am in pretty good shape having weight trained regularly (2-3 times a week) for most of my adult life along with cardio and some yoga. I am looking to get more flexibility in my upper body so I can make a little wider\longer golf back swing. I have a somewhat muscular upper body as you can imagine, and it makes getting a big full rotation a little difficult. I am going to give this a go and see if it helps. How long would you say it might take to see any lasting results? Thanks and take care.

Thanks for the video! I had a general flexibility training video that you may have answered before, but how do you protect you joints when stretching? As an example I'm always worried training the pigeon pose or full lotus because of the feeling that I'm stretching my outer tendons. I don't feel any actual pain, I'm just worried about it. Thanks
@johannes012 жыл бұрын

@xyzyzx12532 жыл бұрын
I mean I can’t answer your specific question, But making you have the range of motion to spare, and the strength to back it up, is a really good general way to practice keeping your body safe for advanced movements. I don’t know how beginner you are with this stuff, But full lotus and pigeon pose are extremely advanced poses, that take a long time to build the pre requisites to do safely, They’re deceptively easy to get into, and do badly, all sorts of stuff can be out of whack, with those poses, that if you’re not careful to make sure you have the prerequisite skills, strength and ROM you will load your tendons more than your muscles, and generally you want to avoid that, Lotus is an easy one to get injured on, so just be careful! And make sure with exercises that load your joints hard, you’re staying humble about your limits, No sense in trying to do a skill your body isn’t ready for! :)

Videos keep getting better. Thank you. Not sure if you've reflected on the use of "tribe" in your videos. For indigenous people this can be offensive because it is seen as cultural appropriation. While it might be normal in the fitness industry, it doesn't make it right.
