Person #3 here. I'm on day 13 of no THC and it's an emotional and physical roller coaster so far. Some days I feel great and some days I feel like I have the flu. I don't have cravings for THC because I know it isn't going to solve these symptoms, even in the short term. You've allowed me to completely shift my mindset in this way. I really hope I'm almost through the worst of the withdrawals, today I feel awful..

Person #4 2 months sober. But as you explained the different types of smokers I feel as if I was each one described at one point or another in the past 8 years smoking daily. Only on the 7th year was I person #3 wanting to make a change but having difficulty in actually doing so. Stopping for a few days at a time and relapsing. Until two months ago when I went on vacation and had no access to weed for two weeks, and when returning I had no desire to continue since the mental battle was half won at that point with having gone through the insomnia and cravings. Only thing that lasted for about a month was the emotional changes and mood swings which still persisted, until month two where I felt a sense of relief in not continuing to smoke.
@faithdavis7904Ай бұрын
I am person#4, and at stage 6. I smoked all day every day 40+ years and stopped for months twice. This time I got the courage to give up weed knowing what to expect: the withdrawals and insomnia. However, it was only the insomnia that was my biggest challenge. The difference for me was the Dr. Franks’s powerful coaching videos, and forming the “mindset”. Your videos gave me support to get past the first 90 days. The daily weed habit is broken. I have no addiction to weed. I am free! I handle anxieties totally differently now, starting with addressing my feelings head on,..different mindset. I am more confident now and I feel so much better about myself. Sometimes I weep with happiness that I have this monkey off my back.🎉 I continue to watch your videos as positive reinforcements. And I want to say to whoever is reading this, hang in there guys, it’s only a “mindset”.🧠 Thank you Dr. Frank! You are truly good at what you do. ❤ ❤❤

I was person 1 through most of my 20's, person 2 for a long time (6-8 years), person 3 for at least a year, and I suppose I'm person 4 now. Just hit day 7 no THC. I can feel myself thinking more clearly already, soo much more energy, and I feel myself recovering from my CHS symptoms more and more each day. I can hold thoughts in my head long enough to write them down. The anxiety and depression that kept me smoking daily-well I haven't felt it since day 3 (oh, the irony). The discomfort of the withdrawal is outweighed by the positive effects. I'm still wrestling with insomnia, and I'm happy to deal with it. Fewer dark thoughts every day. I can handle stress so much better. I want to socialize again. 3 more weeks, then I'm going to work on the nicotine habit. Thank you for these videos. Simply knowing what to expect from my brain and body during this has been invaluable.

I was in the same boat for a very long time. Dr. Frank taught me to shift my mindset and realize that THC solves none of my problems. The fact that you're here watching his channel and commenting is a sign that you know what you need to do. You can do it!

I don’t even know you but thank you so much for the super supportive message. I am currently 24hrs sober lmao bout to light up because idk it’s so hard for me man.
@karzy111Ай бұрын
@benj4840 hey man if it was easy then we wouldn't need these videos. Addiction is a manipulative thought process, it will take a lot of effort to overcome. If I had to give one piece of advice it would be to not be so hard on yourself when you're trying to quit. It can be hard enough as it is but staying addicted will definitely be harder. I'm almost two weeks THC free and even though I feel like shit today, I'm more optimistic than ever that I've finally kicked the habit. Tell yourself that every feeling is temporary whether it's good or bad.

@@benj4840dude I did the same thing and I couldn’t handle going cold turkey so Im making myself progressively slow down over a month. I cold turkeyed before and it was awful I was throwing up for 2 weeks straight, had a fever, insomnia, night sweats, and lost my appetite along with 20 pounds straight quitting literally killed me I was sick and didn’t sleep for a week imagine having a fever and insomnia at the same time. It was physically too much to handle it was like having 3 different illnesses at once. If I had to cold turkey I would need to go to an actual recovery center because the withdrawal was just so bad. I recommend personally writing an actual plan on paper and sticking to it like how much weed you will smoke each day progressively getting less and less.
