I just completed this workout. I couldn't do all the side straddle sets; I kept the basic bounce instead. But, I was able to complete the entire workout. Their really aren't many full jump rope workout videos out there. There's tons of short vids demonstrating various tricks/techniques but very few videos like yours. I thoroughly enjoyed this upload and look forward to working out more with these.

I agree! Almost ALL other videos there have so much blabbering it just gets super annoying. A time and place for everything and most follow-along videos from other channels spend half the segment recounting their life history and dedicate only like a few minutes to the actual workout. One of the reasons I LOVE Phoenix Nation because it gets straight to the point, I get my workout DONE and go live my life :)

Winter, I hope you will make more longer endurance type workouts! They are EXTREMELY tough but SO satisfying at the same time. 9 days in a row today ! Thank you for that, i've always HATED cardio but now i really enjoy it ! 45 days ago I started with your 20 min videos, then 10 days ago I tried the other 40 min video ( 60sec jump / 15sec rest ) but it was too hard for my calves . So, 9 days ago, i did this one instead. So far, it's working fine!
@wzz7380 Жыл бұрын
Update : I did it 5 days per week since the day i posted the first message. My calves are really bigger, It's really easier and i begin to see my obliques. I losed a lot of fat, i can see it with my eyes and feel it just by touching my abdo with my hand. My weight didnt move that much though, since i go the gym and eat well too i think i took muscles at the time, plus 10k steps a day. I'll continue like that until july and update that :) cheers
@MsHelga914 жыл бұрын
Okay, here's my detailed verdict: this was a TOUGHIE. Like seriously, by round 3, I was POOPED! I sweated a whole bunch, my heart was pounding, and my husband was like: "Taz, you have been doing so far 20 and 30 second intervals, you can't expect to master 45 seconds just yet!" I think he is right, haha. It's safe to say that this is definitely the toughest workout of all. What I ended up doing: I completed 3 rounds of this and then switched to Darin's 20 min one. So I am pleased with myself that I still did a 40 minute workout! I love The Phoenix Movement's videos, they just relax me AND energize me at the same time and honestly, every time I am done, I feel a profound sense of accomplishment, something that I have been looking from a workout channel for a long time and didn't find. Until now, when I found Winter and Darin's The Phoenix Movement. While I wish I could have completed ALL 6 rounds successfully, I know for a fact that I need to keep working at it to build my endurance and my stamina. The key is TO NOT STOP. I am really excited to try this again maybe in a few weeks, see if I can complete the whole thing in one go! :) In the meantime, I will probably keep doing a couple of rounds of this video and then switch to Winter's and Darin's other videos to complete a full 40 - 45 min workout. I love your videos SO much, Winter! Seeing your beautiful and fit self, the background, the time intervals, the music, and finally the duration of the workouts create an incredibly harmonious final product, one that motivates me to exercise every single day. I hope you guys keep posting new videos because it looks like SO many of us all over the world look forward to them. THANK YOU, Winter and Darin

I did this workout this weekend... twice!!! Winter, I swear, I was in a puddle of sweat each time and my heart felt like it was about to burst out of my chest.! But, I feel SO relaxed after so doing. I have been a bit quiet the last week or so due to unprecedented stress at work but I realize that no matter the kind of stress I face, I CANNOT put my health on the backburner. If my coworker is finding the time to exercise every lunch hour and sometimes even after work, then why should not I? I have also been super angry at myself for not putting my health on the forefront and so it just resulted in a completely negative circle. Thankfully, Winter, I only missed two days of exercise. But given that we are quarantining yet again, I SHOULD not miss more than a day especially because we live in a teeny apartment and not like I get much movement within my living quarters. So your workouts are really my only form of movement and I must make time for them no matter what. Thank you, Winter, for these videos. I really don't know what I would do without them. I am eternally grateful

Hey lovely how are you? One thing I have learnt over many years is that there will ALWAYS be work the next day no matter how hard you work today. It is going to be there but what does matter is how you turn up to it the next day did you fill up your own tank?
