If you had bad veins maybe you'd understand. Just because you trust Papaa John's to make an excellent Pizza doesn't mean you're gonna order your Tacos from there. I have surgeons and Cardiologists and dieticians and a Primary Care Doctor. Who I trust to do the best - in their respective field... But when it comes to blood draws? There is only one woman who works in an surgery center in a different state who can ever get my blood. She actually knows where and how to stick. I've had countless lab techs, nurses, doctors, surgeons, and anesthesiologists work for HOURS to find a vein. When I told then where and how to try, they blew my best veins instantly So... yeah. If you had bad veins maybe you'd understand. Hitting a vein is completely different from doing a gastric bypass surgery. It's like, just because someone may be good football doesn't mean they can draw a cat.

People have difficulty drawing blood from me, my most recent experience I had to go through 6 different nurses. It's been an issue for me and other family members since a young age, so I tend to go to the same place (minus the most recent experience) where they know me. I would never refuse a doctor sending me to get blood work at a different place as I would just let the nursing team know before hand, but I do have a preference.

The surgery will fail... that's why for some people after they have weight loss surgery it doesn't last long because they go back to old habits. If she's not watching what she eats now or even trying to loss weight for the surgery. I honestly don't see how she's going to keep any weight off with the surgery. I was over 300 lbs and went down to 282 I later found out I was diabetic my A1C was 13. over 6.5 is diabetic. I was put on a low carb diabet I lost 25lb in three months my A1C is 7.0. Im type 2 diabetes so I can reverse it. I said this to say I know how hard it is to lose weight I seriously cannt eat a lot of things I love. My doctor says if it white it's not all right. Believe me when your body is use to junk and over eating it take a lot of will to not say oh a little won't hurt . I am reading labels if it can't be over 6 gram carb and it has to have more fiber than carbs. Honestly I almost cried when I went to a nutritionist . she told me to write down what I ate typically. I couldn't believe that I ate more than 2000 calories at breakfast. but when she explained how food labels I understood. most labels are based on ,2000 calories and serving size and many packages have 2 to 4 serving for example you eat roman noodles it 260 calories per serving they are two serving per individual pack so if you eat the entire packet that 510 calories I thought I could get away with saying I just not eat carbs. No carb means more fat which means more calories. I pray that whoever reads this comment finds it helpful for themselves or friends and family.

it’s pretty clear that most of these patients view the weight-loss surgery as some magical cure that will do all of the work and automatically lose the weight for them. the surgery is not a shortcut, and there’s no way to cut corners when it comes to your health. losing weight after the surgery requires immense effort and discipline to maintain. all of these problems that come with obesity aren’t just solved instantly. I mean, listen to how heavy this woman’s breathing is when she storms out of the office… ain’t no weight loss surgery going to fix that, you know?
