Happy New Year! Grab a tea, coffee, cake and some cookies and let's have a deep down talk about my 2024 Life & Hair Goals! I did a few changes last year but couldn't find the time to film all those with my camera. Maybe it's time for a Vlog Camera, so that I can film spontaneously to keep you updated! What changes are making for year 2024? I'm definitely on a mini twist journey and will cheat a bit on my wash&gos. Henna and clay is top priority, so I can't wait to film more diy content!

Your hair is pretty! I'm exploring being a chunky twists/twist up-dos natural with a few twist outs here and there once I get my desired shape! :) I find that with twists I'm able to use less styling products so that I can focus on more nourishing forms of moisture such as light-weight products targeted for healthy hair, oils and surprisingly diys! Looking forward to any diy videos you have upcoming for 2024.

Thank you! ❤️ Twisted updos look always beautiful! I can’t wait to grow my bangs and top layers of my hair out. Right now my mini twists mostly poke out if I don’t pin them or braid them in. Once it gets longer I’m here for the updos. 🥰

You made so many points on this video. I am here for your new journey. Yes there are many cutting techniques you have to find the one that works for you. The dryer is a culprit 😁, I feel exactly as you do, the top of our hair is exposed to the heat and can be causing damage if we are under it for extended hours

Yaas hooded dryer 🥹😭, I’m glad you made the same observations. I wonder if those professional degrees hooded dryers are better

@@RabielleParfait My stylist had the ones they all used and my hair was never dry. I always had wet roots during the cut

I trim/cut my hair wet with leave in conditioner every 3 months. My wash and go has a good shape. I have length retention. I don't have split ends and have very few single strand knots. I oil my scalp on wash day only with Jamaican Black Castor oil because I produce very little sebum. I use a liquid leave in conditioner and a curling cream with medium hold for my wash and gos and twists. I don't use gels. This has been my routine since big chopping from relaxed hair to a TWA March 2019. My hair is now mid back length. I am 5ft 7 ins tall for context. I have mostly 4A with some 3C coily/wavy hair if we use the curl chart. Like you, I do what works for my hair.

Wow, thank you for sharing this in depth information! Your hair is thriving totally 😍. Do you cut your own? And I love how you bring your hair length in relation to your height! Oftentimes people say their hair has reached a certain length like waist but usually we don’t know how tall they are. Because what could be long for me, could be long for you!

@@RabielleParfait I cut my hair myself. When my hair was relaxed I got professional cuts as well as cutting my hair myself so I got used to cutting my hair using the technique my stylist used.
