Andrew Lloyd so how effective is the hip flexer
@SkighAthletics
@SkighAthletics 5 жыл бұрын
D'Angelo Russell The main reason I always warm up / suggest warming up your hip flexor is to take tension off the quads. It’s a muscle that can be difficult for basketball players to warmup considering they rarely get in a full-sprint like a football player or track athlete. Activating the hip flexor distributes the pressure throughout smaller muscles so the quad can perform better and pain free.

Hey bro i know this is an older video but because I’m new to training to dunk I like the introduction of all these new exercises. I was wondering if you think this kind of training is sustainable/beneficial if done twice a week(with the weights drastically lowered). I am currently in a ppl so I was wanting to do this for my leg portion. Just found you and I like how the layout of your videos are and everything, thnx!
@SkighAthletics

Branden Chanmanivone I’m glad you like the video and I appreciate the comment! I definitely think this is sustainable for 2x a week. If you need a complete guide on workouts, I have a 100% free workout on my website. I also have an advanced workout used by celebrities and collegiate athletes available for purchase on that same site, as well! It will give you daily workout guides with video descriptions on technique right here on my KZbin channel.
