Guys, when you are completing the stretches, I can't tell you how important it is not to push yourself too much. For these stretches, she's been doing this for many years, so she's able to do them easily. If something is hurting for you to do/burning, STOP THERE! You can hold in that position but DO NOT keep moving further, because you WILL damage your muscles. TRUST ME ON THIS!! Side note: Great stretches!! But again, don't push yourself too hard.

I’m only 15 and yet I’m extremely obese, unfit and unmotivated. I’m sick of being that one “fat kid” so I’m trying some easy, low impact exercises and it’s so hard since I haven’t moved this much in years! I somehow made it through an 8 minute exercise and for the first time in years I feel good! I’m gonna cool down with a few stretches now and do it again tomorrow. Hey, Maddie! Just wanted to take some time to thank you for all the workouts! I hate going to the gym and couldn't afford taking other type of exercise classes so I've been doing your workouts everyday for 4 months and I'm super happy with it! I feel motivated and excited to start a new ones, the way you lead everything is super easy to understand and my absolutely favorites are the dance workouts! I legitimately have SO MUCH FUN while dancing with you, so I needed to drop by to thank you (and ask for more of those vids hehehe). I don't have any issues with my body, but I was trying to loose some weight and just doing your workouts everyday (taking some days off during the week when i didn't feel like doing it, ofc) made me loose 11 pounds! I haven't worked out in AGESSS and the only times I can are late at night because I get home 5pm and sometimes 6pm from highschool. I wanted to get active a few days before going back so it would be easier doing exercise after a full day of school. Today I did a warmup, two different and kinda intense workouts and then this cool down. But since I get really anxious and tense I tend to not breathe heaps when I'm exercising and I find myself practically holding my breath. I guess my body wasn't used to suddenly doing all this because when I started cooling down, I jumped up off the floor to do the first exercise, as I swooped down and went up (I must've done it too fast,) my vision went completely black for 5-6 seconds and I nearly fell over, then my ears kept ringing.- So moral of the story.. try and breathe!! And also calm yourself and don't over do it after not working out for a while. I'm gonna keep exercising each day, with a couple rest days. Cya future me!!

I love doing MadFit videos and suggesting them to friends. I wonder, Maddie, if oyu might post some short warmup and cooldown videos that focus on either the upper or the lower body. If we had those short videos, we could tailor our warmups and cooldowns to the areas of the body that are getting the workout. What do you think of that idea?

Thank you you saved me 😊 I tried to push my self a little more after weeks of the same numbers, and ended up too tired to take a bath, I remembered about cool down and chose you, and you really helped me out Thank you so much

I haven’t been in the gym for 5 years now due to having kids but I am so grateful I came across this video. Today was my first day back in the gym after 5 years and I feel really good. Thanks so much for these vids. I’ll be back on Wednesday😁✌🏾

You nailed it again Maddie. Your quad stretch technique cues are extremely effective in getting both the quad and the hip flexor involved in the stretch. :)

Thank you Maddie for an amazing video! She is right there is no excuse not to warm down, so I’ll take her up on that advice! ☺️
