Idk if y’all are looking for feedback (feel free to ignore if you aren’t), but I really missed the personality in this video. The moments where Rachel narrated her steps almost vlog-style were so much more engaging than the top-down diy shots. Just something to consider since I, and much of your audience, come to you for your personalities and energy! Lots of love ❤️

I think this format would really excel in short-form video content! However, I found myself tuning out and having to rewatch parts bc it was hard to keep up with in a long format without the engaging personality/voice. Even a voiceover with captions could help with that. Love that y’all are exploring new formats though!

I really love the sustainability that is at the centre of many of your videos. This kind of make and throw it out 5 minute situation is why I esteem your typical content over all other DIY channels. Still, thanks for the video. Nothing wrong with doing something different once in a while. ❤

The retro flower coasters are adorable, and I could totally see myself making them! But without the usual voiceover explaining what you're doing and why, this video comes off as a cheesy 5 Minutes Crafts video, and not the usual standard we're used to from the Sorry Girls.

I can't tell what parts of this are supposed to be jokes/parody, lol. A lot of it's not my style, but I do find a few things super cute, so obv the DIYs themselves are meant to be legitimately helpful and re-creatable. But then there's also multiple places where there appears to be blood on Rachael's hands and the shoe prints in the advert looked bloody as well. 😬 I'm not one to get nauseous at the sight of blood, but what a strange choice to include in the vid! 😂

I have to say i too feel like these diys are variations of items we seen from you before. I don’t know if it’s the color palette, the materials, or the design. Rachel is a very good crafter and has a very easy going manner, it has nothing to do with her or her presentation. I just think these crafts look like they are sustainable but they also have a lack of style or worth that would make them easy to discard. I would love to see you make a gift or something that you would keep life long

That was fun 5min craft parody and I got few inspirations too. Now the questions: Is the succulent pot stable? Isn’t it too top heavy? Coasters - was the wooden base smaller than the tile? Wall hanging flower thing - do I need to glue in the glass or is the clay sticky enough? Can I use slightly bigger vessel to hold let’s say a small live plant? Clay flower coasters - what if I still have the air dry clay from the previous thing, would it work the same? Clay incense holder doesn’t hold the ashes, maybe it should stay at dry plant holder.

This is just my two cents and I'm not sure if you're looking for feedback but imo 5 minutes craft type videos work (or rather rake in the views) because they're being pumped out at an unfathomably fast rythm and the algorithm pushes them. Nobody is really looking for them if that makes sense. If you're not a content mill putting out these vids everyday you have to have some kind of uniqueness because this is what creates the appeal and the incentive to come back, and I'm not sure that cute crafts are enough. I think they lend themselves well to tiktoks bc they're short & easy (the absence of power tools, easy to source materials), either with or without the vloglike voiceover (but we gen z do tend to love a good voiceover lol)

These were cool ideas, but I really hope "5 min crafts" don't start popping up in my social media algorithm. 😂 That succulent planter needs drain holes. I think the coasters and magazine ladder were the coolest. I feel like people kind of missed the point on "5 min crafts." I don't think they were supposed to take literal 5 min each. I think it was called that because they crammed a bunch of cheap crafts into a 5 min video. 😄 Personally, I love how your channel has evolved. I think your audience has evolved with you too. This could have been a mini series of different categories with better quality items, and a more engaging video. • Simple Sculpture art ideas. • Variant Coaster art from different eras/styles. • 3-5 unconventional ways to display magazines. Etc. 🥰

It was a very nice relaxing video and the ideas were super inspiring, but I prefer hearing the instructions from you I guess.

Definitely feeling inspired! I loved all these crafts but I almost feel like I have to make the bead cube, the plaster balloon bowl, and the tile coasters Immediately! So beautiful!

The endless audio soundbed tracks were annoying as hell. It's better to hear a voice over. The crafts were really really simple too. A bit kindergarten level. Maybe it's because I have no desire to stick a dried leafy/stem thing through a hole.

I’ve been watching you guys since the old costume days. I love all your stuff even this. But in a world where my brain can’t even focus on a 15 second tiktok video I cannot sit through this whole video without a voice over lmao. I just cannot!
