I just found your channel on Monday and I’ve done one video every morning. What a wonderful way to start the day! Since being injured in a bicycle accident in 2023 I’ve struggled to maintain a movement practice, being someone accustomed to intense physical activity on a daily basis and extending that to dancing my prayers… The lack of movement leads to depression, it’s been a struggle. Thank you so much for sharing this practice, 3 days and I’m already feeling so much lighter!!

My first standing qigong since 6 August…over two months. Still alternating between hard boot and AirCast. I chose this shorter video because I wasn’t sure I could stand any longer and I needed some pep this afternoon. I look forward to catching up on all I’ve missed during the months ahead! I am wondering...during the practice sessions should I hold my muscles tight as in some yoga poses in order to receive the best benefits from the Qi Gong?

Hi there, in qigong we want to feel the muscles elongating and lengthening in times of static stretches then we want to experience the muscles relaxing. This combination of tension and relaxation propels the flow of blood and energy through the body
