I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and have gotten away from serious training. My kicks suck. So now that I've found your channel, I'm ready to get back to where I used to be and to actual get better. Thanks Donavan.

Thank you for this! I've fallen off the wagon of flexibility training and yoga due to being so drained after work, so this gave me a few simple stretches to work with. Keep doing what you do.

These 5 stretches are really helpful for hip flexibility. Love your videos. Please can you make a tutorial on 360 kick that when I have to jump and how I have to land after kicking. That will be very much helpful.😊😊

Can you do videos about TKD lessons. Something like TKD home training, with basic medium and advanced level. Kinda TWD shadowboxing or TKD guided training. All the gyms are closed. Thanks. 🥋

@@donavantkd No problem 😊. My left leg flexibility has always been miles ahead of my right leg though, would you suggest stretching out my right leg more or stretch both legs equally?

After almost 1.5 month I'm doing stretching..I'm dying now..my other stretching is quite good but I cant do middle split..why? I can do side slips and other thing easily but I cant do full split ..and it's killing me

I have a question, I can sit in a front split, but only 50% in the side split. What do I need to work to get my side split closer to my front.? Thanks

They’re two different muscle groups. Front splits are more hip flexor and hamstring focuses whereas middle split is more about opening your hips wider and stretching inner groin muscles. I’ve got some hip opening videos here as well as middle split stretching routines that may help! 😊

Donovon, how long would it take a 6'5...200lb guy (24) who doesnt stretch daily to be able to do the splits/and or high kick

Of course it varies from person to person but if you stretch properly and consistently, you’ll start to feel results within 30 days whether that’s getting lower into the stretches or at least feeling more comfortable going into them

Please help me if anyone is reading this comment. I get knee pain whenever i strech it specially happens when i perform a wall split or a frog strech. I usually hold these stretches for about 4-5 min for 4 sets. I can't properly kick because of this pain even in butterfly i feel pain

Ooof I'm not too sure what the problem Is u shuld get it checked up but do u warm up before stretches? Also do u practice kicks in the air? If u practice ur kicks make sure ur hitting a bag or target, if u kicking in air dont kick with full power cus its rlly bad for ur knees
