Jit in Florida was one of the few good examples, the youth jails are called jit camps. Michigan was so under-represented but it's a state that's dramatically different depending where you live. In Michigan people tend to add an s at the end of companies named after someone. 'Fords', 'Meijers' etc.

Authentic Oregon coast slang term “burn off”. So we’d say “oh the fog’ll burn off and then we’ll go outside n play” meaning that in the mornings when it’s chilly, there’s a thick layer of marine fog but then it will go away when the sun warms up. Some places in Oregon have a slight California valley girl twinge, other places slightly have a mid-west influence in a similar way that Washington does. My family in Washington definitely says “warsh” and we all grew up saying “pop” lol

In Jersey we say “You good?” A lot and “Y’all”. If someone is sad we’ll be like You good? Instead of saying are you okay or do you need something we would substitute it with “You good?” (This May just be where I live too idk)
