Wow, great video mike. I just wanted to let you know that gold color and paint job in the video is pretty impressive. It looks awesome. The different angles and lights with the camera there just aren’t any flaws that I can see at all. You done an outstanding job on it. Oh Course, I’m not surprised you do great work man. Awesome, keep the great build and video coming we all enjoy them that’s for sure. Also great weather is coming all of us can get out and enjoy our builds, I know I will for sure. Take care - Thanks again

Thanks! I try to make the builds look as nice as possible, without breaking the bank. I’ve had really good luck with rattle can paint on these bikes. Yes!!!….warmer weather!

Hey maybe one day do an original harness and a CHP piggyback 12v conversion using the stock controls and harness and 6v bulbs Thanks mike great videos 🏍🏍🏍🏍
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
I have a hard time seeing the advantage to keeping the 6v bulbs, when the engine produces 12v. I’m curious, why would you want to keep the original harness and bulbs?
@82em12 жыл бұрын
@@MiniBikeMike Price of a sub harness compared to the full harness and not having to disassemble the the bike😬(LAZY)!! Also its an H series bike and wanted a fast switch back to stock since its worth more completly stock Thanks Mike👍🏽🤘🏽🤟🏽
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
The CHP subharness is actually more expensive than the full 12v harness I use. But, I get what you’re saying, it’s all in the comfort level of the mechanic.

Please give your bars a good buff with some 0000 steel wool. The rust pitting on the right bar gives me chills….😀
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
They’re just temporary bars until I can pick up some new ones. 👍🏻

Hello sir been watching AND LEARNING since the old channel. Have you ever tried/thought about putting a side cart on a trail 70? I have a dog that loves to go everywhere. Thanks and don't stop. Chad
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, I have given it some thought, but haven’t pursued it. If I ever run across something that would work for the tub, I’ll give it a go.

Always looking forward to your videos, you are awesome, question, have you ever changed the swing arm bushings, I want to change mine in a 1970 H
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
I have not. I’ve only had one that I felt needed changed, but I went with a different swing arm instead. I’ve read that they are a bear to replace. Seems like most people burn them out to remove them.

You should ask on ice bear champion group page on Facebook The Chinese tribute bike AKA clone Most of those parts are direct fit and a lot of people in a group changed their hands bars seats etc probably a bunch of people with parts.
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
If you’re talking about the handlebars, I have a half dozen sets of clone bars (I’ve built clones for years), but they don’t accept the Honda horn button, Hi/Lo switch or have perches for the brake levers.
@earlyculyer41032 жыл бұрын
@@MiniBikeMike whoops sorry I didn't know, I have seen people saying some parts are interchangeable.
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
Oh, they will fit, but they’re designed to use different types of controls than the K0’s use. I could use clone bars, I’m just after a more stock look.

Mike - curious about where you punched the 110cc engine. Usually eBay or Amizon. What you paid for it. You have mentioned the 110 is only a little less power, and you are fine with that. Was that a better price decision. Do you get the ones with all the wiring harness, carb, cdi. Just curious bout your decision making choices. Always enjoy your videos, very informative, and enjoyable. Thanks 😊
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
I picked the most recent one up from Amazon. It was $350 delivered. I typically do purchase the “set”, which includes carb, coil, CDI, etc. On this one, I just got the engine. I really like the 110cc, because it is spot on the same shape as the original engines. I wish they’d leave it bare aluminum, rather than painted black. It would be hard to tell it from a stock engine.

Where do you get your grey heat shrink from? I have been looking and can't find any! Also, do you use JIS screw drivers during your builds?

Amazon. i noticed you dont use any thread locker on any of your nuts/bolts . do you ever have any issues with them coming out?
@MiniBikeMike2 жыл бұрын
You’re right, I don’t. I’ve built a lot of these bikes (I’ve actually lost track of how many) and I’ve never had anything come loose.
