What fun watching your meal preps! I like the idea of pan meals too! :)

I have been watching a lot of these meal plans and shopping. Never to old to learn new things. I was using everything out of my freezer and canning shelves. Have gone all of Nov. without buying anything except dairy and fresh veg. at the store in town. Yesterday I had to pick up things to make teacher gifts for christmas. The store had family packs of chicken thighs and wings for 1/2 price so I picked up 3 packs of meat. So I blew it, but it will be there for Dec. You do really well sticking to your budget so you should be proud of yourself. :)

I think that even if you splash out a bit for groceries, when you do the cost break down you can see how much you're saving as compared to buying lunch out + coffees everyday! So inspiring!

I always enjoy seeing your hauls and meals! You always do so well. It is hard to compare as we have nine family members but I am staying between $550-$575 a month and that includes paper products, cleaners, etc. I want to do better but anyway... I am going to check out the gas cards and love the meal in a pan idea! I have to check out the Thai dish too. Thank you!

I'm giving the pan bake a shot tomorrow after seeing this. What a great way to use produce up. Wilted/sad produce seems to be a constant problem in our house.

I'm in the same situation! Going home for Thanksgiving Wednesday morning! I have tried to stretch everything in my kitchen to not buy any groceries for the week!! Finishing out with a lot of PB&J and oatmeal! Making it work!!

I remember that life. Anything I made I had to be committed to eating all week. I only had a $7 food budget per week.

Do you have a recipe for the Pad Thai that you could share? It looked yummy! :) I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving, and safe, smooth traveling!

You once mentioned that your cheese always expires before you use it (which is why you freeze it) . Make sure you check the expiration date when you buy it because I buy the same huge bags of cheese and the date usually isn't up for 3-4 months however I have noticed some that are a lot closer to expiring. :) just a helpful tip!

Grapes are getting expensive here too but they are a must-have in my house! The other day I bought a big bag of both red and green grapes and 1 bunch of bananas and that set me back $20! Haha. What are you going to do though, right? I am curious about the cream cheese sausage rolls. They sound interesting! The only sausage rolls I know are the bisquick, sausage, and cheese variety.
